The Trading Post took 750 currency but I got no item? Anyone else?

I’ve tried to open a ticket but it’s been years since I’ve opened one & I can’t seem to be able to speak to anyone regarding this issue. But basically I attempted to buy 1 of the staffs for this month & I got a message “taking longer than expected” or something like that & a little circular arrow icon indicating something was processing. After that message & icon went away & I had no item so I tried again. Then I tried a 3rd time with the same result each time. Logged in the next day & was down 750 tokens(item cost 250) & I still didn’t have the staff. Anyone else have this problem?

According to Blizzard support via this post, They can tell if you still have the tender in your inventory and that its a display issue.

if this is a display issue chance are this could be corrected with a log out and resetting your UI. if this doesn’t happen opening a ticket is the next best option. As you’ve stated above, if it’s taken longer than normal… this is due to others having issues since the new patch.

I have just had this issue with a frozen item from a previous month. It was “taking longer than expected” and now the item is still in the frozen spot, but I have been charged for it. I think I’ll need to open a ticket.

I just got a non-reply reply from blizzard saying that they are busy, linking articles to me, and calling it resolved. I really do want my Armored Golden Pterrordax or my 800 tenders back. The mount is still in the frozen spot.

Has anyone gotten this item resolved? I ended up getting a real person answer saying they were aware of my issue and didn’t have a solution, so stop putting in tickets.

It’s now a year later and same answer from GM. No one will fix this bug ever
