There should be choices on Alliance side too. You should have the choice between forgiving the horde and siding with them and siding with Tyrande instead and help her get atleast some of her land back. It was hinted that Tyrande still wants revenge for her people, which is good. Atleast not all night elves forgot about Teldrassil then, only the ones that were in Durotar.
