You should have the choice between forgiving the horde and siding with them and siding with Tyrande instead and help her get atleast some of her land back.
It was hinted that Tyrande still wants revenge for her people, which is good. Atleast not all night elves forgot about Teldrassil then, only the ones that were in Durotar.
If they somehow make Tyrande evil now, I want to side with her over Anduin and the Horde. I don’t want to forgive and side with those that took away our lands and killed most of our people. What point would there be siding with the horde if you have absolutely nothing?
Help them maintain their home after they’ve taken yours… and your people. If wanting atleast some justice for your people makes you evil, then I’d be more than happy to be “evil”.
I want to fight alongside Tyrande until we have our lands back and until we killed Sylvanas, Nathanos and her followers.
And if the new horde doesn’t start feeling any regret for their atrocities soon, might as well fight those too before they do something similar again in the future.
Sign me up for Team Tyrande/Greymane. If only so that perhaps somewhere in their data, they will get the message that we are tired of getting crap blown up without there being adequate emotional/story closure.
I mean, considering the apparent premise of BfA, I doubt that she cares too much about being on hit lists, as long as it gets her what she wants in the end.
The only way to fight her, is to lay down your arms and accept my loving embrace!
From a “I want my few remaining favorite characters to live” standpoint, I can’t agree with you.
But from a “that could be interesting standpoint”, I’m totally on board. I’d love to see an expansion where the Nelves and Worggos run wild on Kalimdor and try to forcibly reclaim it for nature. Although, I’m not sure Blizz could handle balancing morality on both sides in that conflict.
I think that’s the real reason we need something like this. Because the data would show that the vast majority of Alliance players would side with Tyrandre and so few with Anduin that maybe, just maybe, they’d finally start to understand just how bad of a story they are telling on the Alliance side. Because it seems like Blizzard thinks we all love and want to side with Anduin. And that couldn’t be farther from the truth for what I would be willing to bet is the vast majority of Alliance players.
I want the option too. There is very little chance the Elves can live peacefully until those responsible have been dealt with. Sylvanas and Nathanos must be death with. If that put Tyrande in the crosshairs of the Alliance, I better be able to stand with her. That way if she dies my character dies with her and so does my subscription.
If they are amping up this hungering darkness thing I hope Blizz will allow Tyrande to realize this instead of villain batting her. I’m worried about this because they like to describe her as “impulsive”. It’s possible they will portray her as needing to keep killing until she needs to be stoped for the good of Azeroth, turning Maiev, the Sentinels, and ultimately Malfurion and Shandris against her. It’s depressing. Right now I’m regretting my attachment to this game.
I have a theory that should the new era of wow focus on cooperation between the factions (please for the love of Jenova let us do cross-faction grouping/guilding/ect), then the pvp side of things would be among the Sylvanas Loyalists and the Kaldorei Insurgency.
Basically Sylvanas Loyalists still fighting the good fight against the Alliance and the Kaldorei Insurgency not stopping until every member of the Horde in Kalimdor is dead.
When you pvp, you’ll be pvping along those lines instead of Horde and Alliance. That way, you could keep a underground war going in perpetuity without the need to direct narrative focus on it.
You can side with Tyrande but you still need to “play along” in killing your fellow Night Elves as Tyrande acts more and more evil and she finally discards you at the end. Everyone is funneled into Anduin’s eternal Alliance willingly or not. Enjoy lmao.
Why do you think the nelves don’t get there land back I don’t understand you know they will the war was literally started cause they took it do you want the lands updated cause that’s unlikely to happen
But seriously though, more options would be nice and the Alliance should get one since the Horde did and it allowed them to show more lore than they would have otherwise. Without the loyalist option we wouldn’t have vaguely known what Sylvanas was up to.
My guess is that in some form that option will be available in the future.
Just do remember, like with those pro Sylvanas, she can’t win. She wants to destroy the Horde, they are not going to kill off the entire character list of the Horde. Maaaaaaybe 1 per xpac.
