It sounds like you really are out of touch with how the game is played in its entirety, or maybe just extremely delusional.
I think Blizzard needs to end WoW. Hear me out. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. Retail has evolved now to a point where it’s small scale m+ runs, menu driving social interactions, dumbed down talents/spells/abilities and cookie cutter raids. Storylines are played out. There’s nothing left in the tank.
Classic is nearing the end of its nostalgia run. Players are seeing the cliff up ahead that is Cata.
It’s time to bring this baby in for a landing and put it to bed for good.
I’d like to see the Nozdormu plot bring about the end by merging Classic and Retail timelines together in 1 absolutely bonkers, massive blowout, final expansion and then we all move on grateful for the experiences and amazing people we met along the way.

Yes, sorry friend I think a +22 key is significantly harder than BWL. I apologize that leveling in darkshore is the highlight of your WoW career but for some of us it goes a bit further than that.
Raids were only harder “back then” because we had:
- Limited information sharing capacity
- Crappy computers, connections
- Extremely limited gaming experience especially with MMOs.
As seen with the classic relaunch… the game is an absolute joke. Its why these raids are cleared an hour after they come out. They are simple compared to mythic or m+ in retail.

“Classic” refers to the “classic era” of the game which has always been recognized as vanilla, TBC, and wrath. Cata has always been recognized as the first expansion of the “modern era” of wow.
How does that make any sense at all rofl?
So you have a product that is making millions, and millions of people who enjoy using said product.
But your suggestion is they should kill it because what… itd make fanboi purists feel better about the “lore?” Lol?

Wow 2? You mean like Wow but with expanded content? Itd be like the Wow we already have but with like a graphical update and new skills and zones? Basically they could just take the game and expand it.

It’s an arbitrary tag that means different things to different people.
Rock classics, to me, are bands/songs from early 2000s. For my parents it is 1980’s.
I don’t disagree that for some it means V+T+W only, and that some have bad memories of Cata, despite a lot of amazing things that did occur in Cata, but a few set backs, such as harder Heroics, DS last fight being not as climactic and very long droughts of content.
But for others, Cataclysm introduced a number of iconic abilities, expanded on class fantasy, added some great new zones & content.
There are people who don’t like Cataclysm. Yes, but there are also those who don’t like Vanilla. I think Vanilla is utter trash. Honestly. This is why I basically waited it out after playing it for a month in 2019. But I do want new Era/SoM to come out for those who want it, because I know there are those who want it.

The longer this game goes on the worse it gets. It jumped the shark many expansions ago.
Entirely different mediums. Tv series are limited by their actors. Key members of the cast of friends didnt want to do it anymore so they couldn’t really make a series without them. But also… “friend’s the reunion…”
Coppola only stopped at GF3 because Puzo died. And Paramount is still threatening to release a sequel. On top of “The Offer” “Francis and the Godfather” etc etc
And its not like they just stopped selling any of the above either. They continued releasing Dvd/Blue Ray/4k/remastered deluxed versions to make money off them any way they could
Because THAT is how all this works. While a product is profitable and has sufficient demand it will continue to be made.

SW Galaxies hadn’t had an expansion in almost 4 years when it shut down and almost no one played it lol. And TOR was coming out so they weren’t going to run 2 star wars MMO’s simultaneously. It was a $$$ driven decision, not an artistic one lol
Maybe even hundreds of years later. Make it so people like Thrall and Jaina are legends that some doubt ever existed.
But it’ll never happen. While I’d like WoW to get a definite end, the most likely scenario is that the game will go out with a whimper and not a bang.
I Would be perfectly fine with a WoW 2. The game in it’s current iteration is played out. Nowhere to go but down.

I agree, after Wrath Of The Lich King 2010 as a Feral Druid everything went down the SH!!++ers for me! I was diminished in the Talent Tree and everyone punked me! So far I’m very Optimistic thus far on how 2019 WOW Classic has progressed and that gives me a big smile!
Well you kinda walked into it. The hardest part about Retail dealing with the outdated graphics and invisible death mechanics. One second you’re fighting, the next you’re dying for no apparent reason and some idiot with addons is screaming at you as if you should have seen it coming. They need to work on that. Perhaps learn a thing or two from console games that provide proper visual cues. The difficulty isn’t in strategy, it’s more in trying to translate their bad graphics. I shouldn’t have to read a text message that pops up, I should see it visually. Other than that, it’s easy
I like the graphics of Retail, though they didn’t get my mullet right!! I like my classic face a lot more.
