Who’s Elune? Where do we fight them? Do they have good loot?
Please refer Draeken’s post for answers to everything including future WoW story content.
I could go into further detail and easily answer all these questions, but I don’t want to put everyone here at risk of looking like a nerd. Luckily nobody has gone so far as to do that yet this thread and for sure nobody is getting emotional or actually upset over video game lore.

I think you are doing the community a major disservice by not revealing what happened to Uther of the Frostwolf Clan.

Ebonhorn was being corrupted. You do also remember there was an entire raid of us purging corruption from the ED and saving corrupted Wild Gods?
Edit: also us gaining protection from it via cloak. Also purging it repeatedly via quests.

Ok I agree with whatever you said but would like to run your findings through canon backstory which Draeken posted.
Do you mind?
I always thought Elune existed way before them all, like she would be one of the Old Ones.
I actually made a post a little bit ago a little like what you just said, questioning if they are revealing too much because mystery is good in WoW. It changes the way we see things when they throw it all in the game all of a sudden. Oh well!
That Naaru in Revendreth seemed a little crazy. All that talk about making sure death knows it’s place lol. But one thing that stuck out to me was the image of an entire army of Naaru fighting against the Venthyr. It’s an odd image because we have only met a handful of these creatures before and they seemed somehow majestic. They are rare and beautiful, wise and there to help so we want to listen to them. But to imagine a whole sky filled with them somehow takes away from the image I had of the…
2 decades? no. to be real, the “Mistery” of elunes has been only on legion.
Before that, we assumed titans were “real” gods. as you think of elune now.
I don’t really care, I just mad because making eonar the true sister of the winter queen have like 400% more narrative coherency, than elune beign the sister.
I truly miss Metzen
People almost killed metzen because he retconed the draenei. He isn’t free of sin
It is such a disappointment to have Elune on the same level of the Winter Queen.
All of the powers of the Shadowlands seem…unimpressive.
This is overexaggeration. I played back then, most people were actually fine with it at the time, especially given the Sargeras thing wasn’t clarified yet (and has sadly since been retconned again, lol). It wasn’t until later, during the WOTLK / Wrath-Baby era, where a bunch of Future-Skyrim fanboys started whining about space ships in their Nordic Fantasy where the drama started coming up.
yes I agree. The convenant leaders on shadowlands are very bland.
Oh, interesting. Thanks for the clarification.
Huh? Do you mean when Eonar give a power to Ysera? I don’t recall giving birth to her…
Turning Ysera into an Aspect is a form of “creating” her, because it’s a new form. Never once said she gave birth to her.
Here’s the specifics if you’d like:
Eonar the titan blessed Alexstrasza’s younger sister, the lithe green dragon Ysera, with a portion of nature’s influence. Ysera fell into an eternal trance, bound to the waking Dream of Creation. Known as the Dreamer, she would watch over the growing wilds of the world from her verdant realm, the Emerald Dream.[14]
Oh hey, the OP making a mountain out of a molehill, again.
But I mean, I guess I’d be upset too if my race’s deity was connected to such a bad ruler as the Winter Queen, but I figured you’d be into her.
On a side note… Puts on her weeb shiny glasses, y’all need to learn about the concept of Kami, or “gods” from shinto. Just because a hierarchy and a “power level” exists, doesn’t make any kami less. But I doubt Blizz was looking into this when coming up with this mess of deities and the similarities are a coincidence.
Why was this flagged?
What they should do is leave these gods as gods in our eyes and stop using those names as our next regular npcs because maybe they don’t know what else to do to make WoW fans interested in the story or something.
Has a no no word in it.
