Eonar helped create freya who used her powers from Eonar to give the proto dragon ysera her powers and altered her. past that freya and eonar have not interact with the dragons the wild gods loa and elune and anshe have interacted with them. infact ysera became the foster mother of elunes son cenarius and cenarius ysera and the other aspects helped work with the night elves after the sundering. alot happens in the lore.
lol what a feel good story that doesn’t feel like a waste of time. It’s amazing, it’s like Blizzard found a way to make Torghast but in narrative form.
She made a light show. There is no evidence that she actually created new stars or that stars in Azeroth are even the same thing we have on Earth. You know who else makes constellations? Titan watchers.
The problem is, as all these astute WoW historian PHD’s have pointed out… Is that the lore is already in place! Blizzard just needs to use it. For example, our fellow lore master here says -
Ethriel:
That means that Elune is nothing more than an eternal one in terms of power and position… you know an eternal one similar to the Archon that just nearly died to Anduin.
True enough. But imagine thinking that this is even close to as important as Blackhand the SummerKing being the brother of Bizquick the baker, 2nd of his name. None of you are thinking of this on a cosmic level. Elune wouldn’t even be a part of the conversation if Uther and the rest of the Frostwolf Clan hadn’t reached the Pantheon of Sanctuary which took place BEFORE BURNING CRUSADE.
If Bizquick hadn’t ascended above godhood and pulled the Sword of a Thousand Truth’s from C’thune’s realm (which was outside of the realm of Azeroth and out of reach of the teen titans themselves) and saved Eonar and his daughter, Baine Scabfoot. Nobody would be talking about Elune and godhood.
Try focusing on the important parts in the lore. The stuff people really care about. And I think we’ll all be in a better place.
This on a belf priest just makes me imagine early quel’dorei as just really tsundere towards Elune.
“We named it Silvermoon, it’s not like we like you or anything.”
“We’re building an arcane sanctum in the south, let’s dedicate it to the moon. Don’t even think it’s because we’re thinking about you, Elune.”
