Because I like to /spit on a boss if it’s giving trouble? Or if I kill someone in WPvP that gave me trouble.

If someone is worthy of contempt (see: all Alliance), it’s good for us to have a way to express that contempt, don’t you think?
Contempt is a valid emotion, and spitting is a pretty common way to express it.
Also, why do interactions have to be “productive”? What does that even mean?

I generally tend to do that after I kill someone who tried to attack me in the middle of fighting something else. Really gets that message across of: I think you’re a coward.

I thought it was a LOT worse than whistle, but that got removed because of “movement hopping.”
Now, if only spitting on people becomes a big thing in the news.
The reason these existed at all, is that they (just like Everquest did) more or less just imported the old DIKU/Whatever mud emotes verbatim. Having played old text muds, it really gave these games a “classic” feel for me

Totally, a friend and I had a running thing where we would fart at each other any time we were in range, and then try to get out of range before the other person farted back!
Sorry about that I had to enter a tournament under 100kgs and I was 100.01 so I removed some saliva from my body to participate you just happened to be in the way… my bad. Also I’m a blood elf so I was in storm wind killing your dudes
People who swoop in and take the quest objective while you’re fighting the mob guarding it deserve to get spat on. Don’t be a selfish twit.
