Spit emote: what's the point?

Tell me, in what way is it productive to have an emote that allows you to spit on people? I was just sitting in stormwind a few minutes ago when this guy just spit on me out of nowhere. Not only is it a nasty emote but I’m just wondering, what is the point. What productive interactions can be had from allowing people to spit on others

Why does an emote need a point?

It’s so you can judge the character and mind-set of the dork doing it to you. This way, you know right off that you don’t want to bother to be friends and you should have absolutely no qualms about ganking them.

I find it very useful.

Aviela, this doesn’t work well when your making the same type of posts back to back. Try switching to an alt if your gonna try to make posts like this back to back. Although I will admit, it just hit sunday where I live so you get a like.

I swear we just had this conversation.

Alliance spies will always spit on vulpera. You can find out who is an alliance spy if they spit.

To express the disaffection we feel for something or someone?
It is as necessary as roll eyes, which I have seen people claiming to be a non-adult way of dealing with differences of opinion.

Quite frankly! I see people saying that worgen stinks, that worgen has fleas, that worgen is a beggar for living in favor in the kingdom of other peoples.

I’ve seen people using faction banners to gloat over opponents beaten in wpvp, in a “much more invasive and disturbing way” than /spit, and yet it hasn’t deprived me of sleepless nights.

To eject saliva in a particular direction, often at the ground or onto an object or other entity as a base means of expressing derision and/or disdain I think.

It’s an emote. That’s it. That’s all. It’s not some major insult to your person.

It’s for RP. If some orc killed my Nelf’s child and that orc was captured and brought before me, I’d spit on him.

Stop trying to get things removed from this game, please.
