Ever been “spit” on by the opposing faction? Or, have you ever done it? The toxicity of some players has been getting worse and worse.
Makes me wonder sometimes the thought processes of some players. Never has happened to me when I was in legion and it’s been only happening to me, at least, in the last 3 months or so. Been “spit” on several times after being ganked in naj on different occasions. 5 plus alliance jumps me and spit on my corpse…really??
What prompted this post is what happened to me today. In the VoEB, the aggressive notation quest, an alliance was fighting some easy trash but part of the quest. I wait for him to kill it, and did my quest bit. They spit on me. Wtf? I did not effect them in anyway, shape or form.
There is only one time I did it to an alliance. Same location, a mini-boss that you gotta kill all the minions before the boss shows up. An alliance sat back and watched me kill all the minions, one by one, (this took at least a minute of time) and when the boss popped up, he tagged it before I did. That was my spitting moment.
I know this is just a game but it seems to me that there are more and more toxic players out there. If anything is going to kill world of Warcraft, it is bad apples.

I like to spit on Horde characters who snipe (tag) my kills. As well as anybody who generally acts like a dick.
Am I toxic for rewarding toxicity with toxicity? Perhaps. But I’m not going to apologize for it.

When people think its funny to 4v1 me they spit on me. 1v1 even 2v1 me and ill beat you both
I spit on any Alliance filth that tries to kill me.
Especially if they’re a tank.

You try to gank me when I’m trying to kill a rare or do an event and I manage to vanish behind you and kill you before getting back to the rare/event

Only recently, and only on my Vulpera shaman, have I been spat on.
I don’t use /spit, I typically use /cackle. But I have been spit on a couple of times.
Your entire existence would be a rage point for me, ngl.

Honestly, this is probably because of the state of the game. If the game is fun and people are enjoying themselves, they don’t get as mad as quickly which results in toxic behavior.
With how terrible the game is, people are gonna be quicker to anger.
I dunno. Bad apples have existed. Being spit on doesn’t bother me. It’s an emote in the game, I fully expect people to use it. I’d say toxicity really kicks in when people begin whispering other people. I’ve had people tell me I should go off myself, or they hope I get some kind of terrible disease and die slowly because I beat them in arena. It’s just one of them things. I laugh it off and report / ignore.

All the time. A lot of the time it honestly feels random or I don’t understand whatever slight the other side thinks they suffered. Maybe no one likes DHs?
How on Earth is that toxic? It is a RPG where horde and alliance hate each others guts to where they war over every little thing. It is in character to /spit on the corpse of the enemy that wants to erase your existence. Get real and get over yourself lol. Toxic…lol /spit

I don’t think I have ever /spit on someone. I always /lick any Alliance I see. I also don’t play on warmode so I never have to worry about being ganked.

Yeah. Usually Alliance, usually in a BG after we crush them into the dirt.
I guess it make them feel better.
