Also consider that players are reporting an increase in dazing now. Do you see the obvious coming?
They will design the game to push you toward the no-daze thus making you “choose” to go without waterwalking and parachute. Thus removing 2 things we already have and only taking us back to square one before they went insane with dazing.

Are we sure they just haven’t been updated yet? Because there’s a ton of stuff that hasn’t been updated yet.
Do you know that for a fact? How about for 9.0 when they dont have to remove them, but they dont have give updated versions either? Who is going to use the equipment if the items are still in game and kept updated? If thats the case then why not give us 3 slots to equip every piece since items will let us do those things anyway?

Yes because the first step is to make the system the way they are making it and the logical next step to get people to use it and choose is to take away the options we have.
Instead of… I dunno just giving us 3 slots like I said and having all 3 at once like we can have right now.

Ok, so, here’s what I am going to finish up with, because as usual, with most arguments, things always come down to those that are emotional and those that are logical. Since I have no horse in this race, I know that I am not emotional about it.
These are the facts and all that matter, no argument you make will change them, it will only help you feel that you have complained.
- This system is happening.
- People that love water strider will be able to choose to have it slowfall or anti daze if they want.
- The golem will also lose its ability, if they ever make mount equipment that allows for gathering, so that people that love that mount will also be able to choose between different equipment for it as well.
- You will have to spend gold.
- No amount of complaining will change what is coming.
- If you pay for a subscription you are directly condoning and supporting anything the dev’s do as far as businesses are concerned.
I think that sums up the facts, so, since one cannot have a rational discussion with irrational people, I can better use my time elsewhere.
From my understanding is - people are upset they can’t have a special waterwalking only mount AND other mount equipment in their mount slot for all their other mounts.
Basically they see Blizzard fixing it so everyone is equal on their mounts and even states it as such and say “IT SHOULDN’T BE FAIR! I GRINDED A REP! I SHOULD BE SPECIAL AND HAVE MULTIPLE MOUNTS FOR DIFFERENT THINGS!”
I highly doubt that unless people are still grinding out alts. I bet most people will be investing into the parachute since flying is coming in 8.2
You know what’s going to be great? When down the road they eliminate parachutes, barding, and water walking potions.
Then the only option will be to change equipment multiple times in a play session.

Look, I’ve played this game enough and seen their ways to know when something is being pruned. I know their ways as they have been doing it(pruning) for over 5 years now.
They either take away immediately, slowly take away, or take it away but give it back to you as “extra.”

Do you remember WoD? Feedback is what kept that from happening again.

Considering the precedent, there is no reason to expect this to be usable in the new 8.2 areas.
