PSA - This is an example of bad feedback

FYI - this is a thread that started off about being upset about the water-walking mount situation.

If you get near the bottom people have started becoming upset about things that haven’t even happened in the game. They’re literally complaining about things that they think could happen at some point.

Do you people want things to change? Or do you just want to sit and type angrily on the WoW forums?

The latter.

Hmm.

I’ll take “Angrily type on the forums.” for $600, Alex.

I think you should step off and let people provide their concerns and feedback to Blizzard and go about your day.

You’ve got negative press about the game flying all over the internet, and a primary concern is Blizzard not listening to the community.

And this is an example of the truth of the matter - this feedback is garbage.

That’s not your call, it’s Blizzards. Again, either debate the person on their feedback or ignore them and go about your day. Y’all are just lookin’ to be jackwagons to people.

To elaborate on this, people might be complaining without future knowledge of what’s going to happened. It’s conjecture, but it is based on past experiences with the game and the way things have been taken away.

I mean how do you want people to feel. Regardless if there concerns are justified or not, people feel like changes are being made inspite of their concerns and feedback (good or bad). If one unwanted change goes through, it is not unreasonable to assume that others will as well.

Also, I’m not sure if this is the best way to handle what you personally consider bad feedback.

Pfft, I’ve been playing the game since the beginning.

The outrage that took place when the dispel mod in Vanilla was deactivated was intense. All because people had to press a button to cast a spell.

The communities insane, and just reacts insanely to every single thing that gets changed.

“Pfft, I’ve been playing the game since the beginning.”

Does that somehow give your opinions more weight.

Its amazing that he had to take it to a whole new thread just to bash another poster. This is probably part of why cross linking is against the CoC.

You caring about what someone else is annoyed about is a bit more insane to me. Either debate their point or move on. Stating their feedback is bad is, unconstructive and in a sense, a callout.

I don’t know the context of what he’s talkin’ about, but I think it might be a safe assumption that his counter arguments weren’t holding any water.

Then you should be aware that Blizzard prefers crafted gear from older expansions to be irrelevant in current content, so players don’t feel forced to farm old content for their buffs.

You should also be aware that the last time Blizzard created an external system and moved previously character based abilities to it, it was expressly in order to remove that system and require the abilities to be regained via a new system.

Given these two facts, it’s not a stretch to expect the crafted mount equipment to be replaced by something else in 9.0, or removed entirely if the players treat it as a “set and forget” system rather than using in in whatever way the devs “intend” for it to be used.

Cross linking is against the CoC? Isn’t there an option to do it though? I’ve had my stuff cross linked. Isn’t the little chain thing cross linking?

Just curious if this is new.

someone stated that gear would be useless after 120. He didn’t have proof. pointed that out and suddenly im “unreasonable”

I cant pull up the CoC right now since I cant find the sticky, but yes there ia a part about cross linking.

I’m a pandaren of simple tastes. I want things to change while typing angerly on the WoW forums.

If you cross link it, would you be violating it? lol

I want to assume that the context of the cross link might matter.

I was only making a joke. I mean, let’s be honest, the whole forums is just one big joke. Like government, humanity, or life itself.
