I just got done with a survey from Blizzard, and among the questions asked was “Are you aware that the number of levels is going to be reduced?” The follow-up question stated that the level cap would be far lower than 120 and asked how I felt about that.

They also asked how likely I’d be to buy a level boost for $60 if it would let me skip 90 hours of leveling time.

As a tip for future trolling, any survey put out by blizzard or any actual billion dollar corporation isn’t going to ask you if you’re aware of a feature they haven’t announced. They’re also not going to phrase it in a way that’s basically telling you that rumors are reality more so than asking you an actual question.

The attempt at deception would be a lot more believable without that one line.

So, they did a huge stat squish while purposefully designing BFA to raise the level cap from 110 to 120 and implemented Ilvl scaling to the AI, to then at a later date, do a level squish…

Keep dreaming. Blizz tries this to keep people addicted with minimal input from them…well, I wouldn’t put it past them but it will backfire in a way that would probably make me re-sub for a month just to watch everything go down in flames.
