Should Tyrande die in Shadowlands, Shandris Feathermoon is the perfect leader for the night elves

No it hasn’t, a mary sue is perfect out of the box and to an annoyingly unbelievable degree, being a constant screw up that people pretend isn’t a constant screw up isn’t a mary sue, it’s a professional politician.

Your quote proves that the Light predates everything.

It has nothing at all to do with Elune, and it doesn’t prove that Elune was on Azeroth before the Titans.

Proof? Please?
Just because you say Elune is “The Light” it doesn’t mean she is.
Abilities like Moonfire and Starfall literally do Arcane damage. And those abilities are taken directly from Elune.

You have mode no arguements as to why Elune is related to the light.

I don’t think Tyrande is a Mary Sue. I think she is an embodiment of everything I hate about the Alliance.

Khadgar said it. It’s in an in-game quest. He thinks that Elune created the Naaru.

So… if Elune created the Naaru and the Naaru were formed during the great ordering. Elune was either around at that time or came before.

" I may have found a “key” to unlock [Light’s Heart]

I was going through some ancient cosmology tomes when I stumbled upon a passage indicating that the [prime] [naaru] may have been created by [Elune]during the great ordering of Light and Shadow.

If Elune did create [Xe’ra], then it stands to reason that we could use the [Tears of Elune] to unlock the secrets of Light’s Heart."

From the quest Goddess Watch Over You. According to ancient cosmo tomes. Elune may be it. Elune may be the thing that started it all. I mean if she’s there making Naaru at the great ordering of Light and Shadow… where did she come from? She came before that.

Again, that isn’t any proof.
He THINKS that Elune created the Naaru.

But later in that same expansion we get an ORGY of evidence that Elune is connected to the Titans.

So either the Naaru aren’t as old as they say, Or Khadgar is straight up wrong.
But none of this proves that Elune is related to the light in any way.

I swear to god if they take the only slightly interesting race on the Alliance and makes them another group of light worshiping humanoids I’m going to break something.
Less and less reasons to tolerate the alliance’s excuses for “writing” every day.

Thrall was Gary Stu and he made Garrosh Warchief

Look how well he did

Khadger is the smartest wizard alive in the game. So I’m going to assume his “guesses” have a bit more weight to them. Also, he looked at these tomes which exist in the Azeroth.

It’s like in Game of Thrones when Sam discovered who Jon was by ancient tomes.

We have Khadgar saying she may be related to the Light. We have Velen who said she may be related to the Light. We have two very smart lore figures, one who is older than Tyrande by 15,000 years, saying Elune is related to the Light. But let’s just assume lore characters don’t know about lore.

Yeah they could be wrong. The writers could change it tomorrow. But today… Khadgar (very smart mage) and Velen, 25,000 prophet, think that Elune is connected to the Light.

Please explain the process on Thralls Gary Stu’s stance during cataclysm, MoP and WoD

And yet, she has clear, connected ties to the Titans, the emerald dream, and the Arcane energy of Azeroth, hence my confusion.

Blizzard can’t keep their facts straight.

Didn’t she canonically die in a desert alone somewhere without capturing Illidan outside of the MMO? I always found it “odd” we even still have Maiev around given her book/comic demise.

She is literally in the game. right now.

She’s only significant to the Horde though.
She’s the boss of the Darkshore warfront.

The Night Elves are allowed to be cool, if you’re watching them from the Horde side.

She never died in outland, she was captured, and tortured, and imprisoned. Ironic.

Now that I think about it, I think the dead one might have been the AU Maiev …I keep forgetting we can just Rick Sanchez ourselves because there are alternate universes.

Ayup. That’s always gonna be a headscratcher.

Is any character the perfect leader for the nelves anymore? really blizz hates nelves so much I don’t think it really matters. Is not about characters, is about blizz hating the entire race.

LMAO no Night elves were never that.

I really couldn’t agree more. It makes me want to vomit.

Not since World of Warcraft.

I do wonder if blizz writers are in bad terms with the original nelf creator or something. Because it’s pretty weird.

Not since WC3. They were good fighters/warriors but never barbaric and savage.

please excuse the sarcastic tone, but… don’t we all die in shadowlands?

If Grommash Hellscream, Warchief of the most brutal clan of Warsong orcs refers to you as Savage, and Perfect.

Then you are Savage and Perfect.

He got randomly scared about some people who managed to overpower his troops. That doesn’t make the nelves savage. No idea why they would want to be anyway, that’s never a compliment unless you are using it on the modern way of “damn bruh you so savage”.

Maiev Is an exemplar of the Night Elven people. She spent 10,000 years underground. She wasn’t associating with other lesser races. She wasn’t being polluted with modern ideals.

She’s basically a time capsule into the past for that particular species. I think she’d be a fantastic leader to replace boring Furion/Tyrande.
