Should Tyrande die in Shadowlands, Shandris Feathermoon is the perfect leader for the night elves

Even though Shandris is awesome, Tyrande probably won’t be going anywhere.

We will probably see her separated from the Night Warrior at some point this expac, she will also probably be a leader in the hunt for Sylvanas.

I’d like to see more neutral characters show up in the whole drama between Alliance and Horde honestly.

I want to see the Kirin Tor get involved. I want to see more of the factions from Legion, that were neutral between the Alliance and Horde, show up and give us a neutral perspective on things.

What does the Cenarian Circle think of what Tyrande’s attitude or even that of Sylvanas? What do these neutral factions think of the faction war?

And I believe this was when Tyrande was 100% certain going to die to a felguard? I forgot what she was fighting, but it was like novice priestess with zero fighting experience vs burning legion bad.

So I think Elune may have been forced to do something there.

Or she’s a Titan construct. Making her Arcane, not Light.

Lets look at the Pillars of Creation shall we? All remnants of the Titans.

“The Hammer of Khazgoroth”
“The Aegis of Agrammar”
“The Tidestone of Golganeth”
“The Eye of Aman’thul”
and “The Tears of Elune”

Aman’thul. Agrammar, Golganeth. Kaz’goroth and Sargeras are all Titans.
This only leaves one titan. Eonar.

Eonar is directly connected to the Emerald dream, and her own personals sanctuary of “Elunaria”

thats “ELUNaria”

You know why Tyrande told of prophet velen? Because he was wrong

Its also worth bringing up the old lore interviews they did, where Elune was mentioned a few times:

Is Elune a naaru?
During a recent visit to Darnassus by Velen, he explained that the kaldorei’s description of Elune, as well as the demonstrated powers of the goddess, matched his experiences with powerful naaru. He began to offer advice regarding how to commune with powerful naaru, but Tyrande thanked him for his opinion, then cordially requested that he refrain from making such outlandish claims when in Darnassus or in the presence of Elune’s priesthood.

What is Elune? Is she tied to any other beings (Naaru, Titans, Loa, Elementals, An’she, etc) in the setting’s cosmology?
See the final answer in Ask Creative Development, Round 2. Velen has been a prophet of the naaru for many thousands of years, and it’s unlikely that he would propose such a theory without significant evidence and consideration.

Not necessarily. The opinion is that he himself was like that and others were not like that.

Also Malfurion stated that before the Xenophobe saying the Tauren insult. Just because “SOME” say something doesn’t mean all say that.

If Elune is a titan construct and the Titans spent 147,000 years looking for Azeroth. How come Elune was there before them?

Precisely why she’s a worthless goddess who doesn’t care the only people on Azeroth that cared about her at all are mostly suffering eternal torment in the maw alongside the likes of Arthas, because she couldn’t be bothered to lift a finger to help them when they needed it.

You’re not a night elf.

They did all die. The vast majority of the population was wiped out. Just outliers in towns away from the war zone and the military remains. The rest aren’t simply dead, they are being tortured in the maw alongside Arthas and where Sylvanas should be. To me that’s no one to support or pledge fealty to. Tyrande is useless.

I’m talking about percentage of population. A majority of the night elf race is extinct and being tormented in the maw. Elune allowed this to happen, she’s not worth the effort to speak her name positively because of this.

The only thing here before the Titans was the Elements and the Old gods.

No life, No nature.
Just Azeroth.

In the War of the Ancients, the demons pushed from Zin-Azshari to nearly Mount Hyjal. Safe to say the majority of Night Elves died in that war too.

Mary Sue

noun

noun: Mary Sue ; plural noun: Mary Sues

  1. (originally in fan fiction) a type of female character who is depicted as unrealistically lacking in flaws or weaknesses.

REALLY? You think Tyrande of all people has NO FLAWS?

Ever since her introduction she’s been showen to have clear cut strengths and weaknesses.
She’s head strong, defiant, and follows her heart by acting on impulse and gut feeling of what she thinks is the right thing to do.

I can get some people don’t like her but calling her a Mary Sue is simply laughable.

Mary Sue these days just means ‘female character I dont like’ because words dont mean anything

They fielded massive armies right until the end. And it was a battle across the planet. protecting teldrassil from some fire spells seems a lot easier. Jaina could’ve managed that herself had she been there…

Yes. She’s a Mary Sue. She constantly screws up but won’t ever admit it, she plows ahead as if her moves were the right ones. Her man backs her as do her people. They don’t see the flaws, they see “perfect”. She doesn’t see her flaws either.

>She’s a Mary Sue
>She constantly screws up

Contradiction. Mary Sues never screw up, that’s why they are mary sues

Or they believe they never screw up and others do also even though that is not true. The definition of a Mary Sue has changed a bit over the years ya know, but M’kay.

Not true. Light always existed and even then, the universe was made when the Light and Void crashed.

Before life began and before even the universe existed, there was only the Light. The Light existed as a boundless sea of living energy, swelling across all of existence, unfettered by time and space. Yet as the ever-shifting sea expanded, pockets of cold nothingness appeared. From these spaces, the [Void] coalesced. The Void quickly grew and began to move against the Light, and before long, the mounting tension between the two forces ignited a series of explosions that ruptured the very fabric of creation, giving birth to the physical universe

Elune created the Prime Naaru, which was Xe’ra, who was said to be “one of the first naaru to be forged during the great ordering of the cosmos.”

When did the great ordering happen? When Light and Void crashed. So… isn’t Elune the Light?

Theres several somewhat varying definitions but Tyrande doesnt fit any of them.

YOU LITERALLY JUST REPEATED WHAT I SAID!

And I may be in a minority, but I like Tyrande and Malfurion’s relationship, they love eachother but are both solid independant entities, its so rare to see an actual healthy loving relationship in media.
And they act as eachoter’s foils quite nicely.

tyrande is wreckless and headstrong and quick to rush into action, but Malfurion is there to say “hold on a second, lets think this through yeah?”
And Malfurion is passive and idealistic, and when he dosen’t take action Tyrande is there to say “Allright thats enough, I’m getting this done.”
