I should still be able to see the deleted versions of those characters unless they were under level 50 when deleted. Good luck, Valrend!
Vrakthris I apricate you looking for me. Unfortunately for me I just cant remember the names of the other characters expect for Tj the human priest. I also didn’t even know about merging your wow license to a battle.net account, I was definitely pre 2009. One last request and ill stop taking up your time. Would you be able to check one more email for me? {removed}
I believe we have a winner, sort of.
Looks like that email was on your old account but it was changed back in 2014. I can’t post it on the forums but I"ll try to give you a hint.
The email is an aol.com, it contains part of what you have for the email you are posting on now, but where you have it first here, it is last on that one. So we have (word)(number)(word currently at the beginning of this b.net)@aol.com.
I hope that helps, but you can definitely use that to submit a ticket under “I don’t know my email address” and a Game Master will be able to update the account for you. Remember to provide an email address for them to use that is currently not used for a Battle.net account.
Otherwise, your characters are on primarily on Mal’Ganis, Illidan, and Burning Blade. You have some lower level ones on Agamaggan, Anvilmar, Archimonde, Burning Legion, Dalvengyr, Destromath, Firetree, Scarlet Crusade, Scilla, The Scryers, The Underbog and Thunderhorn.
I had a feeling it was under that old email. So I set up a ticket just like you said. I have been going over in my mind what the new email account was but I just cant figure it out completely. What If I cant remember it? Will the Game master not be able to help me recover the account?
As long as you provided the email address that you did in that previous post they will be able to find it. Just state that it was under X, but you don’t recall what it is now and can it be changed to Y (make sure Y isn’t in use on a B.net account).
It looks like you used “Not Listed Here”, Imac. While that will still be answered, the option I suggested would have had you attach an ID, which will be required to recover an old account, and it’s a bit higher priority, so might be answered a bit sooner.
If you can, I’d recommend using this.
I thought I sent my Id but I must of screwed that up. I resubmitted my case with Id. Thanks for looking out for me I really appreciate it.
Hi, I resubscribed and hoped that my old WoW characters would be restored, but they’re not available (or possibly under a different email?).
I played on the Lightbringer realm during WotLK and I had a DK “Teacake”, Hunter “Nibcake”, and a Rogue. Can I retrieve these characters somehow? I followed the instructions and deleted my cache with no luck.
Have you tried creating a lvl 1 toon to refresh the realm list.
Yes, I just tried again actually. I also searched on the Armory and there is another player with my name on the same realm, so my character may have been released due to inactivity, which is fine with me. I’d just like to play my old characters again.
Your characters should be exactly where you left them, though if it’s been that long, it’s very possible that your character’s name was released. Even if that’s the case, you should still see them in your character list.
Make sure that you’re logging into the right WoW account (in case you have more than one under the same battle.net) and that you’re actually selecting the server and not relying on the server selection list to show you how many characters you have on each realm as it won’t be accurate after a long time away.
I don’t remember using a different email, but perhaps it is possible. I did try going into the server itself and creating a new character, but no luck.
I found the DK “Teacake” on Lightbringer on an old WoW armory website, but I can’t find the Hunter for some reason (they were on the same account).
It looks like the WoW license with those characters is on a different Battle.net account, Zen, and is currently locked.
This just means you’ll need to verify that you are the registered user on the account so that we can return access to you.
I’ll try to give you what information I can so you can include it in your ticket. The email address on the account is a Gmail. It’s a short version of your first name, plus your last and a number, +10 to what you are currently using.
Other than being flagged for a name change and currently named NibcakAA3C8E and TeacakAC22BD, your characters look to still be on Lightbringer.
You can use this ticket option.
Hey, thanks! I think I know the email. Every time I submit a copy of my ID in the ticket forum and go through the ticket submission process, it loops me back to the ID submission page. Is there another way to submit a ticket?
Check the size of the file, I believe it can only be 15MB, it might be too big.
Thanks, I was able to submit a ticket! Looking forward to seeing my old characters again.
I am also having trouble finding my gnome warrior “Ziblet”, as well as a couple more alliance players on that realm. Problem is I forgot which realm and they aren’t showing up in my realm list.
That one appears to be on Frostwolf, Anikka.
I was wonder if I could get some help finding my old characters. I have returned to wow haven’t played since 2012 I believe. I can’t remember what servers I used. I know I had one blood elf hunter in one server and all my other characters were alliance and on a different server. I had a dk and Druid maxes out at the time. Maybe more. Some of the names were rosaletta, wonderious, zafrina
I was looking for my original Troll Priest, Sunti. I had not played in several years and was not able to find my original characters. Thanks for any help.
