Returning player can't find any OLD characters

Hello I cant find my characters associated with my email or user name. Id love to return to the game and buy the new expansion, but Id love to continue with my old characters.

While it does look like this WoW license was created back in 2011, it doesn’t appear that it was made into a full account until you recently added game time to it.

There are no high-level characters on it, except for your level 65 character in Burning Crusade Classic. You have a few characters on other realms like Aman’Thul and Thunder Lord but those are new characters created recently.

It does appear that there is another Battle.net account that you may be associated with, with a WoW license created back in 2006. On that account, you have characters on Aman’Thul, Doomhammer, Gilneas, Grizzly Hills, Hydraxis, and Muradin.

I would check any other gmail accounts you may have. As a hint, I can say the email starts with your name.

I just recovered my old wow account, but I dont see my old characters. Is it possible that I have to give it some time to retrieve them?

Well if u rember the realms try creating a lvl 1 toon on those realms thats been known to refresh the realm.

Are you logging into the realms I noted, Chanson? If you haven’t logged into the realm/characters they won’t show up on the realm selection list automatically. You need to select the realm itself.

I am unable to find my old characters. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you happen to remember any names or servers? It would help check, especially if they are on a different account.

The WoW license on this Battle.net account was created back in 2014, but hasn’t really had game time on it. You had one month back in 2019 and most recently, this month.

You have a bunch of Classic characters that had been created back in 2019 on Windseeker. No other older characters exist on it.

There seem to be a few Battle.net accounts that may have been started by you, Roostaz. One I found seems to have an old WoW license on it started in 2009. It contains several characters on Blackrock, Burning Blade, Darkspear, Illidan, Kil’jaeden, Korialstrasz, and Proudmoore.

The best hints I can give you to find that old email address would be that it is your name and what seems to be your favorite four digit number. Hopefully, that helps.

If you are unable to recover the account yourself you’ll want to submit a ticket. You can use this category. You’ll likely need to select the option that says you do not know or have access to your email address.

Apparently you have more than I originally found. That is a Hotmail address, you are looking for Gmail with your first and last name and your numbers.

You can also log into the WoW license and check the characters on the realm without adding game time.

I’d recommend putting in for a refund on that hotmail account unless you are intending to continue playing there.

I’m a returning player after several years as well. One of my realms was Agamaggan but my characters are not there. I logged into server with new character and everything but nothing.

You have three older WoW licenses associated with this Battle.net account so it might help to have some idea of character names, class, and race.

If I had to guess though, I’d say you want to look on the WoW license that ends in 25.

Dang it, I reactivated the wrong account lol . Can I fix that?

You can open a problem with purchase ticket they can usualy refund it and let u reapply it to right account but sooner the better.

If you recently purchased the game time we should be able to refund it. Then you can add game time to the correct account.
