Returning player can't find any OLD characters

I played back in 2014 I believe also yet even through searches I can’t find my old characters. One was Tduuß who was like a 70+ Undead Priest. I know the account I started here is not the one I had before with them on it, but it even says my emails aren’t connected to any account and I have only used like 5 emails for over 10 years and this new one is the only one it acknowledges. I’d really like to play on my old ones and at the least get the money and items off them for a new account but I don’t know if that can happen.

You can put in a ticket to attempt to recover those accounts, even if you don’t have the login credentials. Hopefully those accounts are in your name as you probably will need to attach a picture of your id.

I think I found it - yes, it is on another account under an email very similar - but Yahoo.

On Auchindoun.

If you recover or can access that account, you likely won’t see it on your character screen, it’s been gone long enough the name was released so it will have some numbers appended.

Does that help?

That is good information! So I tried the similar email but it says it can’t find an associated account with that information. I’ll try to open up a ticket if that is the next best option. I should know previous passwords I believe. Is a ticket my next best option?

Thank you so much. I really hope that will work, I’d love to be able to play on my old account and then my wife can keep this one so we can play together.

Yes, at this point, a ticket would be the next step.

FOUND THEM!

Hey,

I’m having the same issue. I played in 2012 on MoP. I’m trying to find back my toons and no luck.

Any chance I could get help finding my toons it’s been a long time. I have tried to make characters on servers I think they are with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

The WoW license you are posting on was newly created, so there aren’t any old characters on it. This Battle.net account was only created a couple of months ago.

I was able to find another Battle.net account with some older WoW licenses on them, which I’m assuming is the account you may be referring to. The email is similar to the one you are using now but is one number off and is @outlook.

It looks like it may have received an account action. If you aren’t aware of any activities that may have resulted in such an action the account may have been compromised and I’d recommend reporting it as such.

I recently started playing again after more than 10 years. I had characters on multiple servers, mostly alliance and a couple horde. I cannot seem to locate any of the horde characters. I’ve tried the trick of creating a toon on the servers I believe I had characters on, but it didn’t repopulate the list. Is there anything else I can do to locate lost toons?

You could provide some names and class-race combinations if you can remember any. One of the SFAs should be able to locate them pretty quickly once they have that information.

Creating a character on a realm was a means to refresh the character list when a character was recently undeleted. It won’t really help otherwise. The only way to refresh the list on the realm selection page is by logging into the realm. If you don’t see a character on that realm, you don’t have characters there.

From what I can see Okidk, you appear to have found your Gnome Warlock on Barthilas as well as some low-level characters on Darkspear and Blackhand. You have some low-level characters on Demon Soul, Uther, and Wildhammer.

That’s all I really see on this WoW license so if you have others out there it is likely on a different account. If you can provide some character names, realm/class/race/level, etc… I might be able to help track them down.

I also have a character that is missing. I haven’t played since the end of 2017, but I thought I might start back again. Until I found my main character MIA.

Character is a Human Hunter named Lunarnova from the Whisperwind server. I’ve had him since the end of WoTLK. Put so many hours into him. I can prove its mine if needed. I even have old support tickets involving him.

It looks like that character was transferred at the end of July in 2018 to Skywall. You also have characters on Auchindoun and Blackrock.

i’m also looking for missing characters been a while since 2015 missing a few lvl 60 in above

You have characters on Tichondrius, which you should see as you are active on that realm, but you also have a couple on Darrowmere.

all my 70 plus ones a gone

There was a level squish and max level is now 60. whatever level they were is now divided by 2.4 (I think).

Level squish. 60 is the level cap now.
