Reporting people that offend you is toxic

I have never been criticized. I always put in full effort. I am undergeared and often rusty since I have a busy life. But I think I tend to punch above my weight. I said I report blanket insults that insult the whole team, which happens often. But even if a player is bad, you have no right to insult them. What if the player is 12 years old?

Why are they on Classic WoW without parental control over their chat?

I don’t know. I just remember when I did bgs cata - legion people told others to learn the bg. Kind of an odd thing to hear now get gear and you can maybe learn the bg later on. It’s ok you don’t have to.

The “Fantasy” world you’re refering to is the game you agreed to the terms of service for to play and be able to chat to begin with.

If you have an issue with Blizzards interpretation of the terms of service for toxic communication, you’re welcome to leave, and go find more “Mature” (haha) places to spout your ridiculous rhetoric.

Until then, please enjoy the complimentary mutes when you get reported for being an jerk in game.

I mean I can tell you don’t PvP at all so maybe you can educate yourself too.

Gear matters in TBC because coming in with fresh greens/blues will literally get you 1 shot by most people with medicore S2 gear.

You will not be able to carry a flag, defend a point or make an impact on a teamfight.

You will get stomped so many times over and over it’ll become a 9v10 which is where people will call you out.

Encouraging people to not get gear before PvPing because you’re ignorant to PvP will warrant people calling you trash, it is what it is and eventually those same players will report you for AFKing in BGs and will get you banned (Cases of this happened too with undergeared players in BGs who provide nothing).

Thanks Blizzard Bot #24234, I appreciate your automated response.

Gms have blatantly said the mature language filter doesn’t mean a person can curse.

Sure it should be on for the little ones i agree with that.

So I am currently doing a lot of BGs to gear up. Doing BGs for honor is one of the best ways to catch up on gear I thought. Am I wrong?

Yep, gotten to the point you can’t even make up more excuses for your behavior, you’re at the point of full dismissal now.

Raids are good too, you can convert raid pieces to PvP pieces and you can also do 5s win or loss and in 2 weeks have a S3 weapon or multiple pieces.

It’ll help you gear faster than spamming BGs undergeared.

But i thought you can’t get invited to raids if you’re under geared?

90% of my server is GDKPs anyways, i’m sure that guy can easily find a group. There’s raid groups too that take undergeared people and gear them out if they stay with them, lotta options besides griefing a public BG and wasting people’s time.

This is Alices retail toon in case you wanted to see my pvp achievements I accumulated over the years. You can’t see that stuff on classic toons.

Doesn’t this also depend on knowing the content? I mean, if I never played TBC and didn’t know about the pvp token gear, who would tell me this unless I asked. Again, this solely is based on how people are approached and how the deal with it.

LOL BUY A GDKP TO GEAR TO DO BGS

Holy cow that’s bad…

And where are those groups? XD

I think the problem again is that this is an old MMO, majority of people aren’t new and everything has been solved so to speak so doing your own research, asking players in-game are all crucial things to do when in a new game like this.

I think some new players don’t do that though, they want to play this like it’s a new MMO that just released and to them it might be but in reality a majority of the playerbase isn’t going to be accepting.

tk/ssc tokens are cheap, you can skip the entire horrible honor grind of dying in BGs with trash gear and cash in tokens for free S2.

MH/BT go for a bit more but if you can swing those you can easily get S3 stuff too, lot of people do GDKPs to gear out PvP alts to avoid honor grind.

This guild im in is gearing out my sham if I stick with them, tons of guilds do catch up raids for alts.

a lot of people just want to see the content man…

Well you joined at the tail end of an expansion that was released over a decade ago, you can feel free to see the content but don’t get mad if the community has already moved past it :man_shrugging:

oh i did? lol

Not you in particular just responding in general to anyone who feels the way you do.

So how does one afford gdkps? Hm? Doing gdkps on thier mains? Selling things on the ah?

Sure… and people wonder why gold buying in classic is so bad…
