Reporting people that offend you is toxic

Man, it’s like some people can’t learn by reading and have to do the stuff to learn.

Learn by doing.

Yeah go learn by doing it on a training dummy, it’s an MMO stop thinking you’re the main character and can ruin other people’s time with your ignorance.

This is true, yes. But the same can be said for the people that are pushing a meta to play a certain way. Not everyone plays Skyrim the same as the meta. Not Everyone plays a cleric in Dungeons and Dragons the same way as the meta. This is ultimately and solely on the min/max hardcore players that literally go fun detected and hate you for it for not playing there way.

I didn’t know wowhead taught people muscle memory or how to work with other people. Have you ever played a game like Elden Ring? You can look up the fights all you want but you are still going to have to learn them on your own.

Oh yeah i can totally learn to pvp from a training dumby…

I just stand there and stab it right?

Oops this replied to the wrong person. Sorry!

Quit thinking you can do no wrong and can call others trash. It’s an MMO you play with others…

That’s sadly what happens when you play a 15 year old MMO, many people are not new fans and have played before so they expect some level of skill.

Both of you make the same point that you can’t just read and you have to practice but imo there’s ways to do that like Arena skirmishes or even just queuing AV where you can blend into the mob and your team won’t get punished as much since you’re new and learning.

To be that egotistical to be a new player who knows they’re bad and also knows they don’t want to look up things but will go to a team based mode like WSG and purposefully grief and waste time, yea you will be called trash.

and you will be reported.

And you would be reported for toxic behavior because we all agree calling people trash is unacceptable… :snowflake:

How does playing AV teach you how to play WSG. You get into the bg and you still won’t know what to do your frist time in.

That’s like learning to drive a car to learn how to ride a bike. Lol

There’s a cap on how many reports you can give out a day, if you play like garbage and refuse to improve then you will be called trash more times than you can report and eventually will be reported yourself for griefing and trolling.

This is what happens when you allow snowflakes to ban people, it’ll turn on you too and there will no one to protect you.

Well you play a 15 year old MMO, there’s steps to it and doing AV spam for honor will get you gear to survive WSG.

If you join WSG is trash greens with no intention to learn, get prepared to be reported in the same system that you abuse.

You’re mad they’re enforcing the tos? You’ve never been allowed to just say whatever you want in game, GMs used to suspend or warn players against all sorts of language all the time.

Don’t be a toxic douchebag and you’ll get reported less.

This solely depends on the person. You can be Book smart and not know when that ability will go off or what to look for to start preparing for it. Heck, some pugs explain fights and have patience like a saint with some players that haven’t done a fight before, meaning a raid or a heroic.

But I’m going to say this, just because the game is solved, there’s players out there that want to go in fresh and as well as new.

#screenshot I’ll do that then open a blizz ticket.

Again :snowflake: go melt.

I’m not mad at anything but if you think people calling racial slurs vs. someone calling you trash deserves the same punishment like it does now then you’re going to be a very unhappy camper when that happens to you too.

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes, don’t support something that you aren’t willing to accept the consequences of :man_shrugging:

So gear suddenly makes someone understand if they should go for a flag or defend, harass flag carriers, grave yards, ect. You still are sending the person in blind and letting a fully geared player just run around not helping the team because you are more concerned about gear then knowing a bg.

Blizzard I was unaware that there are minimum requirements for participation in BGs other than the level requirement and the no afk requirement. Blizzard, please post the gear requirements for BGs. I want to know how well geared I need to be before I can expect other players to treat me with respect.

OK, now that is a stretch. I knew what WSG was when I first played that back in vanilla. And I was stooked, when I first tried AV though, that was entirely different having to learn that. But if you look at AB, this was kind of an introduction to do AV in a way.

Gear will help them survive yes, in TBC PvP gear matters more than skill for a new player as ytou will get routinely 1 shot before you can learn any mechanics.

You should encourage people to get gear before going into game modes and practicing so they don’t cause more grief in the community.

No need to be so dramatic.

You know how PvP works because you openly admit to reporting every single person who critiques you lmao.

Get gear, learn your role and you won’t be called out.

I can smell the 404 in the air.
