They did say that, however, there are a bunch of people now saying that they suddenly saw a PTR account removed, and now have access to the Stress Test in the bnet launcher, while there isn’t a single person that I’ve been able to find who proactively on their own went and had CS remove it beforehand now showing the Beta dropdown in their launcher.

The concern is that whatever they did on the backend potentially only checked for accounts that were flagged and still had 2 PTR accounts. So any of us who proactively had CS remove it are potentially out of luck as the parameters above wouldn’t hit us.

Can we confirm or deny that those of us that had a CS remove the PTR are going to be able to get in several of us have not got it but had our PTR removed.

Already confirmed, several times, including the very first post in this thread.

Note: For those who may have contacted CS already to have their PTR license removed, you don’t need to do anything else. When this is run it should automatically remove the extra PTR license if you have one and otherwise flag the account for Stress Test participation if you were on the original list of invitees.

Got the email yesterday.
I installed the classic beta stress test today.
I log in okay. Can select Account 1 or Account 4. Here’s what I get:

Classic Stress Test realm is offline.
When I tried again, it said “No realms currently available”.

Give them some time and have faith in Blizz! I’m sure they have a lot on their plate rn… if we don’t get in (Cuz I’m on the same boat as you) we can only hope that they give another inv for the next stress test… I’ve craving just a little taste of classic so bad but it is what it is…

The stress test isn’t for another two hours. The server will remain offline until then.

It is, though. What I quoted was about the realm being offline. That has nothing to do with the client.

Most likely their algorithm is flagging all the ones with the 2PTR who didn’t ask to have it removed first, then they will check the remaining. Sucks that anyone who was proactive will be in the back of the line but CS confirmed even if you asked to get it removed you will still be re-flagged
