I just got done speaking with a Live Chat representative and got this information, so beware when removing PTR licenses!!!
Okay, I can totally look into removing the PTR account from the Blizzard account. However I’m seeing two PTR accounts from my end, but we can’t differentiate a PTR account from a Beta account. Once those have been removed they cannot be recovered. Are you okay with that?

SO far anyone who had cs remove an account still has no access, and all of the people who did not contact cs have stoped posting, its really starting to look like being proactive messed up the algorithms second pass, not sure their is an easy way for them to account for those of us who asked to have 1 or 2 removed earlier today.

Wait what. So if it was bugged and said “PTR - Legion Wow” or whatever instead of saying beta, if it was removed it could’ve removed a beta access? And even Blizzard wouldn’t know? O_o

Thanks. That’s good to know. What I read last night was that the stress test was going to be from 4 - 6. They must have been talking California time.
It’s mainly that these are separate systems apart from what Customer Service can see and it looks like the PTR licenses were overlooked and never updated to even BfA.
EDIT: Customer Service folks likely just depend on the Title or Description of any “PTR” license.
They were posted in PST, yes.
If it helps with anyone’s stress about all of this I have been in the same boat as many all day = Invite last night, BFA and 2 PTR’s all day. I did nothing but reboot the launcher a few times throughout the day to check it. I did not contact CS to have anything removed. I just checked again within the last half hour and one PTR had been replaced by the Classic Server. It was a bit over 4g and installed rather quickly given I don’t have the best connection (under 10mins) I’m east coast so there’s about 2hrs till go time and everything looks good. I hope everything works out for you guys.

MAN I REALLY Really hope that they do a second go around because that is unfair to the people who got invited, or I hope that they give us some sort of I am sorry for screwing you guys with this. Its unfair the way this may end up.

I also just saw that one of my PTR accounts was removed and replaced with the stress test one. Got the email yesterday and now its good today. Downloaded and installed already

I just hope they communicate that those of us who contacted cs are still not fixed, I feel like they have the expectation that everything is fine or working now and it really does not seem that way.

Can Customer Support reply back and inform us if anything is going to happen to us who got invited, but got screwed by deleting our PTRs? Because this is unfair and is genuinely making me pissed.

This doesn;t seem to be the case, in both threads, only people who DID NOT contact CS and have accounts removed got in.
