Seeing many post photographic and video proof of RCR abuse has me wondering why some are so vehemently defending it. My guess is that they plan to abuse it themselves whenever things don’t go their way in Classic. My only hope is that most of these players won’t make it to lv.60, as they’ll probably call Classic a “den of toxicity” and go back to BfA, where no-one ever speaks in chat.

Look, you’ve proven with your foul temperament that any punishment you received in game was likely well justified. You didn’t get squelched for a week, you got silenced. I wonder why your main account is banned on the forums? Same reason you were justifiably silenced in-game; you can’t control your anger.
Your hyperbole is duly noted.
I atleast have solace that if RCR goes through, you will probably be squelched for the majority of your short Classic experience for trolling.

Unlike you, I actually played Vanilla WoW. I’ll have no problem playing like I did back in 2005.
Yup, wont be a problem, given that classic is far more restrictive on the way tags are shared no one is gonna be wanting to broadcast that rares are up in open channels anyway.

Oh you mean the type of addon that constantly yells things at people? Good, shut those people up. Those addons are the worst thing ever.
so chain of events is this (correct me if I’m wrong)
- uses an addon that spams
- gets reported for spam (see above)
- gets account action due to spam (legitimate)
- complains about that and is shocked when it is held up
remove 1. from that list and poof the list breaks down.
I wish I had known there was a one click fix to that annoying addon over the years and I would have used it.
So everyone else has to fill up their ignore list because we can’t just expect grown adults to act like grown adults, and accept the consequences if they decide to act like an idiot?

Do you not play the same game I do? Trolls are and will be rampant. You can also be an adult and leave the chat channel. I expect you to remove yourself from the situation. If someone is spamming something you don’t like then why should they have to stop? You don’t like it. So you ignore them or leave the chat channel. Your version of being an adult in a GAME is subjective. I don’t sub so I can be squelched because people think I should act or play differently. You have the tools to make it where you can’t see spam and the spammer doesn’t get silenced. You just want to hold some fickle power over someone. Pro tip: kids play this game too.

On pservers my ignore list is full of gold sellers. I have like 3 actual players on it because they like to troll world chat. But if that’s what is fun for them who am I to stop them because some rando thinks we should all be mature adults in a video game. I put them on ignore and my problem is solved. They can keep doing their thing and have their fun. We both win. But no you’d rather everyone play according to your made up beliefs that everyone should be a mature adult in a video game.
