Has anyone else come across this? I can’t even access this character, but it’s on my list.
Is there a solution to removing it? Or will it forever mock me as I cycle through toons?

Are you getting any specific error message when attempting to delete it? What’s happening when you try to log in?

It says character not found when I try to access the character and when I try to delete it from my character list.
Last time I tried to delete it, my game crashed with this odd “can’t save to memory” error.
It’s got me stumped. 
I also need to add that the name of this character is just a bunch of random letters and numbers.
You may have to ticket this one.

I think so. I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever seen this. It’s the weirdest thing.
Just adding onto what Darth said, try doing a proper UI reset first.
Incase of corrupted data caused by addons. If a UI Reset doesn’t do anything, and still shows this character, then look at submitting a ticket.

that reminds me to the old way to get free name changes: when you delete the character, create a new one with the same name, restore the character you deleted before and now his name is with numbers and letters and now the system ask you for a new name
That loophole was closed years ago. You can’t restore a character if the name is in use by another.
I figured it was made during a comprimise years ago and somehow got restored.
Not entirely, I don’t think. Fairly sure Vrak mentioned not too too long ago that there’s a 30-day cooldown before they’ll do anything.
Sound logic, but this is not what happened. I’ve never initiated a name change.
Have you ever taken a break from the game for 2 expansions?
If the name was replaced by random numbers/letters then it’s possible the name because able to be used by another user. When that happens to original toon gets a random mess of a name.
No, I have not taken a break through an expansion. Maybe a month off here and there, but I’ve always kept up with expansions.
I’m not seeing any characters on the license you are posting under with numbers.
I suspect this is a display error and a proper reset UI is in order.

I tried to rename, but no go.
Now I’m having to force restart the UI because I can’t even select a different character.
This is so bizarre.
Also, I’m trying to place a ticket in for this and I cannot. I keep getting generated solutions that have nothing to do with this issue.

This should be resolved. There was an issue with that character that had to be sent up to techs to resolve. Thankfully, that’s rare.
That character is deleted. If YOU are still seeing it another proper reset UI is in order.
The initial issue is we couldn’t see it in our tools either. That’s how we knew something far more was going on than normal.
