We all here have told you the exact same thing Orlyia has mentioned. How is that dismissing what you were saying. All you have been doing is telling people that have posted the correct information that they’re post are useless information because it is not posted by one of the Support Forum Agents.
It is a player to player help forum. We, as the players, are encouraged in helping out as much as we can, as stated also within the “Please Read” thread. Support Forum Agents are not guarantee to reply to you because you want them too.
I say it’s my opinion because I opened a support ticket through the official channel, and in the end, they asked me to report the bug here. If the official support channel asked to open a bug here, it’s because they also consider this an official place for continuing support. If you have a better argument than this, feel free to share it, but just questioning an idea without presenting arguments still doesn’t contribute anything.
Actually, they might have said make a post in the ‘customer service forums’ - but for some reason they often don’t advise which exact forum (ie, it’s a generalisation). We’ve seen this many times.
Bugs = bug report forum, either a new post, or add a reply to an existing thread - which you’ve probably done.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and wager they didn’t explicitly say the customer support forum. They may have been vague and simply said “the forums,” but every time someone comes claiming they were told to post here it was clarified by one of the SFAs, such as Orlyia alluded to.
If that’s no longer the case, then it’s a very new change.
Not to make things worse here, but I will state that I was directed to this exact thread by the GM in the ticket. They said it’s a known issue and monitor this thread for answers.
Of course, that was the fourth ticket. After the other 3 gave canned answers about region and qualifications.
I understand some of the frustration here, because there is a 7 day countdown. I’m on day 5. I convinced 3 friends to drop the money for TWW and come back to the game by touting the RAF benefits. It may not be required to play, but it IS heavily advertised and used as a retention tool by Blizzard, it should be functional and a higher priority. This issue seems to happen often, if previous posts are any indication.
That doesn’t make things worse at all, actually! It isn’t in-line with previous mentions in this thread of GM’s sending people to the forums with issues they can’t help with, but it sounds like Vrak’s first post sending it up the chain has made it to the development team and they were able to route the GM team accordingly.
Means they’re aware and that the devs are at work on a fix, and just that updates will be provided here in real-time rather than having to wait an indeterminate length of time to connect with a GM.
Although it is true that the base game is free, in order to take “advantage” of the RaF perks, Blizzard stipulates that you must provide paid game time for the account. This is done with gold in-game or purchased directly with real life funds, either way it is not free at all.
RaF doesn’t require payment, none whatsoever. No, the RaF system itself doesn’t require another payment to use, like in FF14 to use the phone app that’s connected to your account to get more storage space.
Aside from clarifying some misunderstandings, the last update was roughly 17 hours ago. When there is an update, it will be posted in this thread. They don’t pop in every X amount of hours/days with updates, because the staff who will be working on the bug are not the same as who monitor this forum.
When there is an update, they will post here. Just keep an eye on this post.
Last SFA Update: Post 61 of 79 as of me posting this.
Apparently you guys don’t seem to get it… RaF Perks require game time to qualify for… it’s that simple. Game time is not free… so therefore RaF perks are not free.
