Inflation is a rise in prices. Prices are a function of supply and demand.
When supply decreased because of COVID induced supply chain problems and demand remained the same, the only thing that could happen is an increase in price.
Because of âoffshoringâ, our country does not control supply.

How is it that my comment was being biased? There was nothing biased about my comment.
Our dollar is now buying at 0.63 USD. At the time before the last federal election, our dollar was buying at 0.67 USD. Our currency is losing value because our government here is so tied in politics, the damages he is doing to the Australian economy is causing our currency to lose value. That is not being biased, that is a straight up facts.
That is the reason why prices for Blizzard services has gone up for Australians, because our currency is losing value from the politics at play. As mentioned, this is a highly political topic, should not be discussed at all.

I get the reason for it, itâs equalising the dollar value between US and AU. Not happy about it, but I get it.
But Iâm also willing to bet my entire life savings that if the AUD ever gets stronger the prices wonât go back down

What I find offensive isnât price increases as such, itâs the fact that quality is at an all time low, they are recycling content at a rate never seen before and just are doing an all round terrible job.
Iâd pay $40 a month if the blizzard quality returned and every patch wasnât a recycled timeless Isle.

Does this mean weâll now get the day/night cycle fixed, and the in-game calendar fixed for local times/events. And our stuff returned from lost guild vaults,? Seeing as weâre now paying the same cost as the US but âgetting lessâ.

Me paying more out of my bank account in my currency just means that I am starting to wonder if I am getting my moneyâs worth (its not ultimately a matter of the exchange rate, its that I am personally out of pocket that much more each month). Itâs been a concern for a while now and all this just makes it more difficult to appreciate, given the way its difficult to justify ânew contentâ as being that.

Maximum recycled content. Minimal content per patch. Annual expansions and one major content patch per expac. Costs of development canât be up.
Anyway Iâve wanted to quit my wow addiction for a while. Just cancelled my sub.
300 AUD a year plus expansion costs is just too much. Thanks for helping me quit blizzard.
