You clearly donât understand how economies work. Australia canât afford a high value currency. Our income is mostly via exports (resources). Unlike the USA, which is heavily service-based. The currency needs to be low to appease the exporters, and their customers.

Iâm with you on this. My 3 month sub just ticked over a few days ago, but I wonât be renewing when thatâs up. Iâve played WoW for well over a decade, but itâs more habit than anything else these days. This price hike might finally have helped me kick it

never had my mouse stick but the casters in dawnbreaker casting at you blizzard should just add a teleport function to them to get them on the ship if you pull random stuff the ship bug though I wish blizzard had the ships locked in place till the boss battle started
Please forgive me Iâm not the most knowledgeable on topics like this and Iâm 100% genuinely confused but isnât the minimum wage in Australia $24? I understand that everything is going up in price, I feel it where I am at as well, but I have to be missing something else as I donât live over there.

You add in all the other cost as well from working.
Housing expenses such as rent/mortgage
Travel Expenses such as fuel or public transport.
Utilities such as Electrictity/Gas/Water
Taxes
Living expenses such as Food.
Now, I donât know about you, but we donât carry PCâs around trying to look for a power connection and internet connection to just play the game. And everything at the moment is very expensive.

Oh wait, no it wonât. And for that particular price point here in Aus, when the monthly sub is more expensive than a gym membership;
Really need to start asking what exactly the value proposition is for justifying that cost. Because lately, I ainât been seeing a surge in productivity from Blizzard.
In fact, what Iâve been seeing is damn near complete creative bankruptcy, reused assets, rehashed content.
Find myself very much pondering whether or not that justifies a 20% price increase, or just maybe that money would go way further on Steam

Would you be able and willing to expand on these points here? Iâll be honest theyâre rather vague and didnât become expensive the same day blizzard announced an increase in sub prices. I understand everything at the moment is very expensive, but a single month sub price appears to be still under a single hour of work at the minimum wage.
To be clear Iâm not saying people shouldnât be upset, or shouldnât quit because of the price increase. Just asking questions
