Price hikes for OCE

When was that latest US price hike exactly? Seem you guys still pay $15 same price it was 20 years ago.

And when a lull happens to any other currency Blizzard is quick to act on it, unless of course that currency is increasing in value then they won’t decrease your sub prices at all.

Why do they even do regional pricing? Any debit or credit card is able to buy things in other currencies just fine.

hmmm $250 if i play for a year.

Thats a lot of other games I can buy with that money, and it makes me reconsider some months where I dont really log in much during content droughts - yet I keep the sub going.

So sub price ggoes up - how will they keep the masses paying - they need more FOMO - and the Trading Post may not be enough. Guess they will up the currency if u stay subbed soon.

How much do I enjoy the current state of the game and its content…

Might be time for a break till the next raid release. What do we get - is it 3 raid releases per year now?
I can probably reduce my outgoings on a single game to 3 or 4 payments for each raid content drop, that comes more in line with what I pay for other games.

Perhaps the limited time patches like 11.0.5 might become frequent in the future.

That’s what happens when you’re monopoly money ain’t worth nothing

$250 a year plus the cost of each expansion ranging from $75-$135 every couple of years, means its roughly $317 a year if you buy an epic edition (expansion cost halved based on 2 year release schedule). And with these price hikes the expansion costs are also likely to increase  and they sure as heck wont lower prices when the aud $ increases.

Wow, that’s some crazy business thinking going on.

ANZ is being crippled by inflation and tanking economies and their solution is a massive price jack?

This is just getting a bit long in the tooth now.

We’ve known for a long time that this company doesn’t give a :poop: about its player base, as much as it’d like to say it does with all the “we hear you” crap in each video they post.

All about what makes them the quickest buck, even if it harms them in the long run.

Today I learned that Australia has email.

That’s what happens when your monopoly money is spent on “defense” and there’s nothing left for education.

Someone has to protect Australia, New Zealand from China.

I was speaking into my phone So yeah, It is what it is and for what it’s worth English is my third language

Why wouldn’t we have email?

Personally I’m not too fussed by this. Gaming is the only thing I spend recreation money on, (I don’t drink or smoke, and I’m too introverted to go out) so $249 a year isn’t too bad for something I indulge in every day!

But they should tone down the unique stuff on the shop, seeing as they are a sub game.

I’ll pay more as of Feb for my wow sub than my gym membership, lmao.

Value will no longer equal sub fee, heavily reconsidering this sunk cost fallacy

Protection from China isn’t required, but it’s enforced without a choice, other than to be punished.

I “reckon” it to scare people into buying a 6/ 12 month now and they get a big cash boost - oh look at all the success…

Nothing in there about illegal wars, regime change and genocide, just the Hollywood military.

Still doesn’t change Australia and New Zealand has monopoly money… and needs to be charged more to be in line with the USD

BRICS is rapidly growing and their aim is to displace the US dollar as the world reserve currency. China’s percentage of world GDP is set to rise to 24% by 2035, with the US steadily falling. You’ll get a taste of monopoly money soon enough.
