Premades: Respect the pugs, Embrace War Games

Nothing went on behind the scenes. Whoever told you that was being dishonest.

They don’t wanna say openly why they are against SPM, because they made their decisions frivolously, and if they explained to you why they did what they did you would find it rediculous

Maybe they did overreact. I dunno. Hard for me to say. But, like your buddy said a couple posts up…

Why troll at all? Why poke the bee’s nest. What was the point? Was it funny? Are you happy with the outcome? You keep calling folks out for avoiding SPM, so I can’t imagine you’re all too pleased with the outcome.

Like I said, these things don’t happen in a vacuum…including that thread, I’m sure.

Either way, whats done is done. Time to move on.

World PvP has really been dying off since the loss of pvp servers and the introduction of sharding.
It used to be back in the day you could join the world defense channel to get warnings when a town was under attack so you could go help defend it, but with multi-server sharding on a per-zone basis that’s not really feasible anymore.

But I will say that sanctuaries have been in the game since TBC with Shattrath and really are needed for capital cities that are shared with both factions. It would simply be unplayable if the capital city where both Horde and Alliance have to go to quest and do pretty much everything else was a PvP area.

How is that different than Stormwind, you ask? Well Stormwind and the other faction capitals are not used by the enemy faction. They are also protected by guards that attack the enemy faction on sight. And it’s considered Alliance territory so Alliance players aren’t even flagged in Stormwind (though I think war mode players are but back in the day of pvp servers they wouldn’t be).

I am a big proponent of world pvp, but making the main neutral capital city of an expansion a pvp area is not feasible.

That would make sense if there were some behind the scenes BS but according to TK herself it’s because we affiliate with goats. As in, we didn’t openly shun them or afk out if we happen to have gotten on the same side. That’s it. In addition, if you find out what the goats did to be so bad, you will get all kinds of vague cryptic stuff but no concrete examples other than camping DJL in season 2 of dragonflight (which wasn’t very nice of course, but i don’t think it deserves a life time ban ) General question to DJL : If SPM promises not to bring goats with us, and no emotes or forum bravado, would you change your stance and fight? Or , is this a life time ban no matter what? No appeal, no jury, just banned? : )

DJL showed their true colors after losing a wargame and SPM still joined a shared community with them. I’d consider a troll thread less offensive than the junk DJL pulled after that wargame and TK’s mean girl vibes with Tidepod. Some members of DJL were downright toxic after that wargame and TK was one of them.

TK is dodging for one reason and one reason only, they are tired of losing to them. They can make up all the ridiculous excuses they want, but most people see through that. They’d rather farm pugs than face another premade that they have a history of losing to.

Gears and Mhoots can play with us anytime they want. I’m not gonna ask them not to play with us just to appease DJL’s toxic leader

Ok, so, well after all that. After apologies were made and bygones bygoned. After createing the whole united community discord and all that. Almost twoish years later…then your peeps decide to troll everyone. Tell me more about true colors.

So bitter.

Telling the truth doesn’t make me bitter

Ahh yes, Premades are unfair because everyone listens to the lead… how horrible… whatever could one possibly do against such exploitation…

Why do yall care so much about what I think? You do you and DJL will continue doing having fun as we do every night. We have had enough interactions with leadership to pass on being in the same space as the undesirables. And, we’re not the only ones who feel this way.

I mean… why didn’t Gandalf just give Frodo one of the giant eagles right at the beginning man? He’d a been at that volcano in like 10 min to throw the ring in and avoided all the hassle. The giant eagles even picked them up at the very end making it even more ridiculous.

Has nothing to do with “listening to the lead”. It has everything to do with exploit the queue system to get large, organized groups in places they do not belong.

The troll thread in question. Totally worth it

Tortoisekiller let’s do something crazy. I’m going to shoot you a friend request for like the 4th time or something in game tonight so we can be friends again. It’s been long enough. I know because I set a timer on my iphone 8.

What did I ever do to you to make us not friends anyway you know? Search your heart.

Search.

Keep searching.

Okay.

You see?

We don’t care what you think, but we will continue to call out any premades who dodge SPM as we always have done since the days of our inception

Yeah as much as everyone loves Gandalf, he is a terrible party lead. Constantly recruits folks to go off on adventures and then conveniently disappears. You can speculate that “fly you fools” was his way of saying take an eagle to Mordor…but he coulda just said that. No need for riddles. What a jerk.

I don’t know either, and I definitely agree it’s best not to get involved. As the name implies, I’m pretty slow on these things. I saw the troll post though, and thought everybody was joking around and playing along; for a moment I thought there was a communal spark of, “hey, look how ridiculous we’re all being.” Then it devolved into chaos and finger pointing. It was a really huge bummer to see the direction it went.

Anyhow, I hope if I see you in an epic or normal bg you won’t drop based off of the virtue that I play with SPM. I had a really fun game with RR last night even though we lost. I really respect that you gave me a real answer, and hope you won’t hold back on the battlefield!

Bruh, thats all a premade is. is a group of people listening to the leaders calls, instead of ignoring them and doing their own thing…

If they are doing it in the allowed way, then nobody cares. It’s the exploiting the queue for the large, organized groups that’s not ok.

Understood, I didn’t mean to imply anything there, I was just generally curious if they had any stipulations hypothetically speaking. I give up attempting to fight them, it’s not the end of the world for me
