Which would be MORE unbalanced than limiting everyone to 5 mans, so it again makes no sense.
Or…stop the people that are cheating! Why isn’t that the best answer?
?
It’s legitimately odd to me how many people posting in this thread not only don’t understand the issue, how people are doing it, or even how prevalent it is… but they can’t even be bothered with reading the thread and understand there are very simple fixes.
What’s with you people?
These premade groups just sync up their queues, if the leaders of each of the 5 man groups don’t get a queue pop, they don’t join. In some instances, they may get a pop, but not everyone joins and they leave. Regardless, it’s dropping the queue or leaving in progress matches that are the issue. These players are constantly dropping queues.
That’s the main issue that can be fixed… easily.
so you want to remove the ability for people to decline a queue?
?
No. Just penalize players for excessively dropping queues. Leaving a couple or missing some is normal. Dropping multiple queues back to back isn’t.
Show me the evidence.
You don’t even understand the problem. You don’t know how they do it. You don’t understand how to fix it. You literally are trolling at this point. The evidence is in the tons of threads being posted daily on the topic. It’s why these topics are now popping up in GD.
What is your problem? Are you seriously going to argue it’s not happening?
Show us evidence that the majority of fights that end lopsided are because of gear.
It’s a silly request.
Well, queue times certainly won’t matter to me if I never want to queue again.
You’ve given me enough to work out how to do it.
I do have a fix, and that is for blizzard to embrace the unbalanced mess that random BGs already are, and save all the competitive integrity and balance issues for rated. The people who want balance will go rated soloqueue BGs.
Well, you’re getting a solo only BG queue next expansion. Let the playing with friends for fun mode slack a little on the competitive integrity side.
That’s not how burden of proof works. You are making the original claim that it’s pre-mades. I’m providing a plausible counter-explanation. The burden of proof is on you. We know that gear discrepancies happen, and that it would explain highly one-sided matches. We also know that skill differences between teems happen in a game with no MMR, and that it would also explain highly one-sided matches.
Where is your proof that it’s your theory and not either of these?
Do you think this is a court?
Nobody here is a professional trying to send someone to jail. We are discussing problems we have seen through our own experience. If you haven’t run into this…you are the one who shouldn’t be talking here because it is very prevalent in BGs. Seen it often with my own two eyes.
Burden of proof? it’s a forum dude. You don’t get to say we have to show you proof. State your opinion, if you don’t know enough about this topic to know this is going on…that’s on you, and people who do play RBGs know it and will discard your opinion.
So again, there is no burden of proof here. We made a claim and you made a claim, neither have verifiable proof so drop that sillyness.
I have already shown you that Blizzard has seen it as a problem in the past and made raids not allowed. That is proof there was a problem. You think it just went away?
Just deflection and misdirection from you. Argue the points. Stop this proof bs.
I think the rules of good argument apply everywhere.
If you do not wish to follow them, that is on you, but I’ll find you less convincing as a result.
You know what…nevermind. You are a troll. Good bye
Thank you for offering proof of my last point.
First BG I zoned into since coming back to the game last month was a Silvershard, we came in down at least 3 players, never had a full team, other side was a premade full of monster geared players, the game was just people being farmed next to carts, with people continually zoning in then leaving. Eventually I just AFKed in the GY.
And that’s the only BG I’ve played since coming back.
This is an example of why premades are a problem. I have 120k HKs, all from unrated play and mostly BGs. Now, I can’t even stand to play what used to be my favorite part of the game even though I am doing the exact same thing – pushing the queue button. Clearly something is wrong.
I am reminding you of the rules of the platform, I suggest you follow them.
Hahaha oh man you really can’t take that you are wrong huh?
Look if you don’t know RBGs are full of premades just read the forum, and you will see. Stop trying to turn this into a courtroom and use lawyer tricks to win an obvious totally on it’s face unfair practice that everyone knows is happening.
If you come here and defend that practice by being disingenuous and asking everyone else to have PROOF while you just poke holes…you are acting like a troll and will get treated like one.
Knock it off or I will just block and move on.
Random BGs have elements of unfairness in them. So what?
There are ranked modes (both solo and premade), for the people who want full competitive integrity.
Unbalanced != unfair. Gear is fair. Skill is fair. Grouping up to 5 man is fair.
In this case unfair, according to Blizzards last fond words on it at least cover having more than 4 friends in an RBG. Cheating is defined by their code of conduct of doing something to gain an unfair advantage. That makes this cheating.
Unbalanced is fine, unfair is cheating. Cheating should not be allowed and is not by them, but they are not enforcing it. We are here to complain about it because it is bad for the community and ruins games. Takes time from people outside of the unbalanced tier of things and into cheating.
Do you really not understand that this is not fun for people getting cheated?
