Please don’t remove Hunter pets

Yeah a ranger fits better for the upcoming MM changes. They just need to roll out a no pet range class. I would like to see them rework MM to make lone wolf optional for hunters. I don’t get why MM needs to be shafted for one talent that was made years ago. Some player’s never asked for Lone Wolf.

A new ranged class would give them a chance to do the dual wielding pistols thing that’s been clamored for forever too.

But Blizzard has a weird thing against physical ranged. For some reason melee trailed by casters are the go-to for new classes.

Why do they have to do that? It’s not mandatory and there are plenty of other ways to get lust.

Remember most for the change are trolling. Or they don’t understand that the majority of players don’t do much endgame content. Stats released everytime show casual players who sign on only for a few hours a week are the majority.

Are you seriously asking me this dumb question?

No we aren’t.

The numbers and ion state otherwise.

Source please.

and if they fix the pet AI on terrain that aren’t flat surface, something they havent been able to do for 20 years.

tiny detail.

Google, investment reports. I remember reading most even only come back for a month or two at the start of each new expansion then leave. DF was the last I saw them say player retention was up again in a long time for a expansion launch. EDIT Also assume we will see a new report after Q4 on some player retention info and figures.

Thats the reason to shaft hunters? Cause of pathing?

Yeah that’s why you can’t provide a source

War within was higher than DF.

Feel free to stop pretending you have a clue what’s going on.

Even Ion has stated that the majority of casuals play a little bit of all content including group content.

Google…or own MS stock. You will get a report mailed to you if you choose it. Just like it was under Activision.

I didn’t need ChatGPT. I just needed to Google search myself from 2020. I didn’t have Dark Ranger listed so I only had five back then.

It seems like we’re at a point where Blizz is too afraid to add a new class that isn’t a flashy hero spec. The closest we got last was a Monk, which is still pretty flashy compared to what a Ranger would be like if it was introduced today.

We would be so much better off with Hunter and Ranger being two distinct classes, both of which would have access to bows and guns. I just highly doubt from a marketing perspective they would ever bite the bullet and add it. The only way I could see them adding Ranger is if they heavily tied it in with the Windrunner sisters and made it all razzle dazzle, but I’d be extremely happy with a more subdued version.

Some more concerns from 2020 that are still just as valid today:

Personally speaking I’d be pretty happy to see a “normal” class for once that isn’t gimmicked to the Twisting Nether and back. The past few classes barely feel like they even belong in WoW.

I too miss more traditional RPG classes like “D&D” styled themes. It really is getting kind of wacky with Evoker. I don’t mind Evoker being different, but I don’t want them to keep “raising the bar” so to speak and never going back to traditional ones. Would love to see Ranger, Necromancer, etc.

It’s like the DBZ power scaling problem where it eventually escalates so far it ceases to make any kind of sense and falls apart.

Blizzard always had trouble balancing classes. And they keep adding new ones.
