Trust me, I’m not a retail supporter, but if you do want to get better, you can do those follower dungeons. What’s nice about those, is you get to practice healing and have the ability to change around/adjust your UI and button placement mid-dungeon. You can also try out different addons, spells, settings, rotations, etc.
Again, we’d rather have you over here on Classic, but if you want to give retail another shot, it’s a good way to practice.
I think the best situation is to start with a fresh server. THEN after about 6 to 9 months allow for transfers from Era servers, and maybe even have paid level boosts to help make it profitable for Blizzard. They don’t work for free. Possibly limit level boosts to 1 per account every 6 months to help keep the world populated?

If they were to allow transfers after a few months, it would greatly discourage me from playing knowing shortly the flood gates are going to open to people who have too much gold and items to ruin the economy. Either that or make it so players can only bring 1,000 gold per account and all items become account bound and cannot be sold on the AH or traded and NPCs offer 1c for them.
Sounds like a solution. Remember, there is a time delay on transfers. Maybe even wait a year? After the initial flood happens and a spike occurs, you would see deflation.
And this is only IF there is a flood. If there is a delay in transfers, a lot of players will already make a character on TBC before transfers. I doubt they will wait. Transfers would allow players to progress through the classic titles and earn revenue for Blizzard (giving Blizzard an incentive to even put the servers up to begin with).
No TBC or TBC with eventual transfers? I’ll take the latter. Nothing is perfect.
Fresh hands down. I’m hoping we get fresh era servers starting at level 1 for both TBC and Wrath. If it’s not fresh all of the gold/issues come from current vanilla Era. It has to be fresh.
I agree this ONLY Works IF everyone starts at Level 1 and Blizz Doesn’t allow XFERS from ERA/SOD

I wouldn’t mind transfers from Era after a long delay after a TBC launch. A delay of at least 6 months, probably more.
Just came back after a year hiatus, got right back into SoD but I’m not feeling it. Need something fresh or I’m definitely going to unsub again

Yea, would love era servers for BC and Wrath for the people who want it. I would swap back and forth from vanilla and BC all the time. What they need to do is start classic over again with new vanilla servers that progress to the end of wrath. Then at the end of wrath, they just make new servers that restart the cycle in vanilla. After BC and Wrath end then they would become era servers for those expansions, just like vanilla did. Also, they would need to give each itteration of the game a life span of 2+ years. None of this one year diablo season nonsense. Thats one of the main reasons I quit playing SOD.
And Dwarf………we continue to post and post and post. Alliance and Horde…POST!
There would definitely be more people playing it than the current mediocre SOD numbers…
One BC era server, unfortunately it would put a large dent in Whitemane Classic Era, but we’ve had fun there for going on 3+ years now, and it can be there forever. No reason not to have a fresh BC era server.
How do we make them Listen to us? There’s gotta be someway for all of us to make an impact on getting this done. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this seen by the developers or someone in charge at blizzard? I’d love them to listen to the community on this.
