Pet battle/collection broken

I’m having these issues as well, after purchasing a character transfer just last week. I was furious to discover that my progress on the Bloodgazer Hatching questline was reset when I was up to the last quest. I’m praying that eventually a GM can get it restored, I’m onto my second ticket now.

Are you telling me guys that this is bugged since 2 weeks now and there is no updates nor progression on that ?

I really regret paying for a character transfer and faction change right now.

I am on my first ticket about this, after having to reply to a canned response.
This is totally dissapointing

I think I’m on canned reply #4. The previous 3 keep asking me to tell them all of the issues and I have in each ticket as well as linked to these forums. Can’t wait for the next copy/paste GM reply to my ticket that they won’t read.

I understand they’re probably really busy right now with it approaching both Shadowlands launch and the holidays, but it’s concerning that there’s been no attempt to temporarily halt realm transfers or anything while this issue persists. They’re going to end up with a huge backlog of accounts that need to be fixed, I hope there’s an easy way to revert all of it. :x

They didn’t read at all my message…

“Battle pet slots locked. Cannot do my pet battles anymore…” This is what I have written. Guess keywords of first sentence, during the bot triage sent me directly to the classic “stuck on quest” canned response… LOL

I think that I really implied that I was able to do battle pets before, in the 2nd sentence… On top of that they didn’t even look at the screenshots I sent them showing my pets journal showing my lvls 25 pets on the left, and the locked slots in the middle …

And my ticket bumped from 9h in the middle of the night to 20h …

Oh well … Sorry guys I needed to rant.

Yet another victim of Blizzard’s character transfer accountwide breaking here. And recently added to the beta and stunned by how many game breaking bugs there are there even in the latest build. I’m trying not to be negative but if this isn’t fixed soon I think I’m done with this. The last few expansions are just removals of what you work for… power, levels, items, and now because of bugs, utility, toys, titles… it’s horrible.

I submitted a bug using the link from another forum thread and the ticket was closed within 20 minutes saying they couldn’t do anything.

After my third ticket in-game I received a Pocket Pet Portal to increase my pet journal above 1000 again so I could access pets again. I responded with this:

Thank you Game Master SXXXXX for your attention and sending me the Pocket Pet Portal. I applied it and can now add and remove and add pets again. I do still have the following problems:

-My completed Uuna has been reset. She is now afraid of the dark again, and does not respond to /hug.
-My Mechagon Mini collection, which was 100% complete, is now gone.
-My pet Dungeon progress has been removed. I still have the achievements, but Manaproof does not have the options for me to teleport to the dungeons I have previously completed, and the NPC near him offers me the quests to do the dungeons I have already completed.
-Restarting the pet battle questline, “Learning the Ropes” wont complete after winning a number of wild pet battles.

-Not an existing problem, but I also wish to upgrade my journal capacity to 2000 for Shadowlands, but am concerned that a fix may remove it.

I did put in a bug report at the same time I lodged a ticket, but they havent responded. A friend had someone who referred to themselves as a “Technical Specialist” fix Uuna to her upgraded state, re-add the Mechagon Minis, make Manaproof recognize that he had completed all the pet dungeons and offer teleports to them again and fix his master of minion title. Is that something I can hope for, or do I just wait for a blanket fix to happen?

I understand that you are running into some problems with your Battlepet quest progress.

First, I am glad to hear that you are able to add pets again.Regarding that some of your Battlepet progress have lost, please understand that since that the Pre-Patch of Shadowlands has become live, we are aware of some things are not working as intended, including Battlepet quests.

Our team is currently working on a fix now. The reason why we need you to submit a bug report is because that by doing this, the system will help us gather all the critical information and bring our team to manually look into your case,

Please understand that our team is very busy, and you might need to wait for few days before the fix from our team.

So I think that means I’m supposed to wait for a blanket fix now? The bug report itself has not received any response, just the ingame tickets. It seems very much the luck of the draw as to what help you receive.

The same is happening to me after a character transfer. I was stuck on the quest chain to get the new purple murloc because I was not being able to pet battle. I went to a trainer and re-learned pet battling as suggested in one of the firsts posts on this thread and now at least my slots are restored and I can continue with the chain, idk if this also fixed everything mentioned above, but at least, for a situation like mine, it worked.

this happened to me today also after a faction change.

having to the quests again to even have any space it was all wiped out

Same, and I got a canned response when I put in the ticket saying they can’t grant achievement credit. Nevermind that I earned it, had and used the pocket pet portal and was at 1500, then when I transferred my character, it went back down to 1000. So basically paid for a service to move and by doing so, lost this and other progress in game. Makes no sense.

I transferred a character and also had my battle pet limit lowered from 1500 to 1000.

Also got the same automated response of can’t grant achievement credit. Despite I was asking for my account to be fixed. I can’t go and redo the achievement for the pocket pet portal. I just want my pet limit fixed.

After reading another post I checked my Mechagon Mini collection is also gone. I was still missing two but now I have none.

Having the same issue myself. Submitted a but report, but no response yet. Hope this is resolved soon.

Replying to myself because I got a update on my condition. Suddenly all my pet battle quests got fixed. I can port to all the pet dungeons. My Mechagon Mini collection is back and I got back the title Minion of Mayhem. Which I didn’t realize I was missing.

Still lacking when it comes to my pet battle limit, it’s still at 1000 despite being 1500 before.

Great to hear that so much of yours got fixed! I wonder what triggered that. My minis are still missing, etc., so it doesn’t seem that there was a blanket fix.

A GM sent me my portals (I had previously got both the 1500 and 2000), but all the other stuff, minis, teleports, etc… is still not there… how did you get an update Neruu, did a GM tell you he manually fixed it or something?

A little while ago realized it might have been my ticket being addressed. Since got a reply to my ticket and GM said they fixed everything. So yeah looks like a manual fix from a GM.

Didn’t actually get a whisper from the GM was just a ticket response saying they had fixed everything. Of course the lack of whisper could of been because I logged off for about 5 minutes to go do something after I noticed things were being fixed.

edit: The GM sent me all the mini’s I had previously collected and a new pocket pet portal. Also mentioned fixing my quests.

that’s great to hear Neruu! I’d like to hope this means they’re getting to the root of the problem easier, or perhaps there’s a larger fix on the way, because I think you’re the first case I’ve heard where all of those things were able to be fixed
