Good find. Yes, my entire collection of minis is gone. When I use the Azeroth Mini Collection: Mechagon toy and interact with it the dialog window says “you must add Azeroth Minis to your collection…”. They are all gone.
I believe I was close to having them all. Can’t believe they have wiped out all of this progress and still won’t acknowledge it.
They also seem to be continuing to accept payment for services they already know are deleting people’s progress. Pretty slimy.

I didn’t have all the Azeroth mini collection: Mechagon minis, but now I have none, along with all the other account wide stuff missing, detailed above.
I checked with brand new characters, and while my wife starts out with 95 quests done on the statistics tab, I start with 10. I probably had more than her before all this, but certainly not fewer, so that’s 85 things at least I’ve lost credit on.

Found another one - Kua’fon can not fly unless you go talk to Pa’ku again.
Ugh, I hadn’t thought to check the minis. I think I only needed two more, too. Man, this “bug” is beyond an inconvenience at this point.
I suspect that the warfront and island expedition quests are only reset on the transferred character? My main was not transferred, had done those quests, and they still seem to be complete. They are still available for my characters who had never done them. So those aren’t counting towards the 90+ account wide quests that I’ve had reset.
The pet battle quests are account wide, and those are reset account wide.
Are the pet dungeon quests account wide? I never did those.
Yeah, good find on the minis, they’re gone for me too. And a perfect example of the kind of buried thing we’re much less likely to notice. Definitely not doing that again, King Mechagon took months across at least 12 toons to get…
I submitted a separate bug report, we should probably all do the same, even though we continue to get no feedback or re-assurance that we’ll be taken care of.
So anyone know any of the staff over at wowhead? A little news article blurb on the front page suggesting people hold off on buying character services might be what it takes to get the devs to follow through and take care of this lost stuff. Again, not trying to be toxic, but so far all they’ve acknowledged is the bug, and a bug fix alone does nothing for those of us with lost content. Tickets have only gotten us pet portals in the mail, and there has been nothing else suggesting they’re going to take care of those of us that lost stuff after the fact…
Any updates on this as pet battles still log you out/crash? Did a new install and still same issues.
Dmnwatcher - Did you recently buy a character service and start having problems after that? If not, I think that might be a separate issue. This thread is related to lost content following the purchase of a character service, e.g. server transfer, faction transfer, etc. You may want to start a separate thread just so your issue doesn’t get buried in the middle here.
I’m amazed that, a week into this, they not only haven’t suspended the transfers, but still have them marked down.
I’m the OP on this. It won’t let me post from my Vulpera now, I guess, because she was the one I had transferred. Wanted to say I put in a new ticket for the minis. We’ll see what happens. That’s a good idea about wowhead. I wish someone would at least acknowledge that this is a huge issue and close those transfers. I warned my guild about it.
Like others in this thread, I’ve had similar issues. Purchased a faction/server transfer combo and I lost my mini collection, lost battle pet training, all the battle pet quests reset, had to redo the intro quests for Darkshore/Arathi (I had already done them on other Alliance characters) and also had quite a few Heart of Azeroth quests pop up.
I too am facing the same issues discussed here after buying a faction transfer. I had to relearn the ability to battle pets and my mini collection is missing. All of the one-time pet battle quests have reset, as well as one of the Magni quests on one of my characters. Since I am still under the 1000 pet limit, catching/learning new pets has not been an issue for me.
Since I got into pet battles recently, I only started the Falcosaur quest chain about a week or so ago. Funnily enough, while progress on these quests have also reset, at times I am able to continue from where I was before the bug took effect. However, I’m not sure what triggers which quest I will get when I summon one of the Falcosaurs.

No, it was popping up on every character I logged on to, and only stopped doing the island one when I noticed I couldn’t actually do islands on one of the alts, and did the intro. Warfronts, not sure, about having to do the pre-quest again; I haven’t looked, as I’ve done the actual warfronts ad nauseum.
I also couldn’t skip the Legion intro on a newer toon, via the “heard this story before” option, it didn’t even appear in the quest window.
After opening another ticket, I have received a much better response.
They are working on fixing it and in the mean time I was given the items to increase my pet total capacity back to 2000.

This is definitely a known bug by our devs, and they’re working to fix this as fast as possible. That said, in the meantime, I’ve mailed you both the Pocket Pet Portal and Interdimensional Pet Portal so you can get your total cap back up since I was able to verify your criteria for both of them.
That said, for any of the other issues involving any achievements, pet battles, etc, that is something our developers will have to fix up, so we ask for your patience on that. I’m glad I was able to help get your total pet cap back up, though!

I’m not so angry anymore. 
I was sent a pet portal and told the rest of our issues were being looked at by devs. I can battle and add pets so I’m just on the waiting game now.
So my pet max going from 2K down to 1K rendering my account unable to add more pets and not able to do any pet battles because it thinks I haven’t done the prerequisites I did eons ago is because I moved a character to another server? That does not compute.
We are guessing that in whatever “copy” takes place with various character services the markers for some account-wide quests are getting wiped out. Pet battle quest progress is one example of those account-wide quest markers getting wiped out.
There’s another thread on the customer support forum going into more detail on the other account-wide quest wipes that have happened to people. If you’re having the same issue you likely also had your mechagon minis wiped as well as progress on some other quests.
I have also been experiencing this issue since pre-patch week and also purchased several character services. I submitted a ticket and a GM did restore the 2 items to increase my pet limit. I used them and everything appeared to be working fine, but the next day I logged in and everything was once again reset. Pet limit was back down to 1000, pet dungeon quests uncompleted, and I had not unlocked the ability to pet battle. Selling pets is a significant source of income for me, so it is particularly frustrating to not be able to learn any new pets. I was so excited that Blizzard finally had another service sale so that I could transfer some toons, but if that is truly the cause of all these issues it has created more headaches than it was worth.
