Easy, delete m+. Problem fixed.
Blizzard,
Please implement a penalty system for not knowing the dungeon in mythic plus and wasting the groups time (surprise surprise, they leave most of the time for this reason).
Thanks
I’d rather they delete people who make stupid comments.
Loving m+ is dumb. I am cool about it. Speed running is just another mark on WoW’s grave.
Speed-running was a thing a decade before M+ existed.
You don’t really need to speed run lol. What you need is not to die.
So that’s what I have been doing wrong…
What’s the threshold to determine if a run is run speedily, or run slowly?

I think that’s because of blizz and their stance on “players tackling keys they arent ready for” or whatever trash excuse they put out.
Kind of a hilarious stance when wiping on a boss in raid doesnt send me back to the previous boss.
Wiping on a raid boss doesn’t give you gear though. M+ is very forgiving when it comes to failure.
Exactly. Most of my failed keys were due to mechanical errors, that - if given a do-over - would easily be corrected the next time. An extremely small number were due to a lack of dps, tank mitigation or low heals. Allowing for a one time do-over of a key would not only help buffer for leavers, but (imo) would allow people an opportunity to practice. Which could potentially encourage more people to try it out.
But the key doesnt progress either.
As far as gear acquisition goes… I dont see the difference in repeatedly doing a 10 and not timing it, getting whatever gear at the end, vs doing a 10, timing it, dropping it from 11 to 10 and just farming it over and over.
There has to be some drawback to failure. Your vault is going to be full of 220 gear whether you time them or fail them. Whatever key you have at any given time isn’t really that valuable. There’s no shortage of 10’s being run of every dungeon. If the keys didn’t deplete, it would be nearly impossible for newer players to find low keys to get into.
Well, I beat the last boss and filled the bar. Does that count as failure? If the timer is the only mark for success or failure… Why does it drop gear at all?
To clarify: the key not upgrading because you didn’t beat the timer is the drawback.
This won’t happen, but for my purposes… when the timer expires I would like there to be a popup to either continue (key depletes as normal) or restart (sends you out of the dungeon with no completion (no gear/no key depletion/no vault credit).
Because no one would bother with completion if it didn’t reward anything. We have it good with M+. Leave it alone lol.
I think this is where we get on a path of subjective. Theres already RNG for what may drop, remember?
I’d have to think that people would game that as to never drop a key level. Again, that makes it hard for newer or inexperienced to find keys to get into.
