Mythic+ culture is extremely toxic. Here’s why

Speaking only for myself, I don’t mind other forms of content. And if those other forms rewarded comparable gear to mythic plus, I wouldn’t mind in the slightest.

I humbly submit that I think the timer stress is a bit overblown. This isn’t to detract from others real anxiety or stress, but to ask the follow-up question: what is an acceptable completion time for a 4 boss, 70+ elite trash mob dungeon would be? Some napkin numbers (please check my numbers, if they’re wrong let me know):

If each trash pack is 4 per pull, that’s ~17 pulls of trash. Some mythic 0 elite mobs have 600k health, let’s say we move it up to 1.5mil health to simulate a 15 key level (+245% hp), or 6.0mil health for 4 mobs. In 90 seconds, the dps members of the group would need to be doing ~22k dps to down them. 90 seconds to kill these mobs would be a pretty long time (in other words 22k dps from the three dps members is relatively low). But even in keeping with that model, the above dungeon would be completed in about 45 minutes and you’d have completed the timer.

25 minutes for trash mobs.
5 minutes for transit time between mobs/bosses
15 minutes for bosses

This is just over the 39:00 timer for Shrine of the Storm mythic plus dungeon.

My point for being verbose is to try and give some reference points. I don’t think that 45 minutes would be considered rushing, and while it didn’t make the time, the only thing the dps would need to do is add about 10k dps more each (from 22 to 33k) and then each mob encounter would be brought to 60 seconds and not 90 seconds and or pull more than 4 at a time.
