I have a customer support ticket in as well, however posting here won’t hurt. I placed a heap of auctions before work. I went to work and came back to find no gold in my mailbox. That lead me to believe nothing had sold. I was confused and checked the AH. It turns out I had been selling but no gold had made it to my mailbox.
I don’t even know how much I sold. I came back from a two year break and had a heap of items to sell.

I’m another who lost their gold. I had 5 Superior Potion of Intellect up on AH, just looked and they’re not on the AH anymore and no gold in mail. I’d put a ticket in, but seems that a worthless thing to do when people are reporting that GM are just telling them, “oh well. Not our fault.”
Think I’ll just go ahead and pull down all the rest of my stuff on AH that I have up on alts.
Posting misleading information isn’t a public service - it is actually a disservice. You have people making threads now saying 800 people from quality assurance were laid off. 800 from ALL their games were laid off and most of them were in positions not related to actual making of the games, i.e. marketing, etc.

Last mail with gold receive was on 01/15 at 3am EST
if you dont undrestand the circunstances and what is going on and why 8.3 pas pushed before being ready it will make comments crazy like those in this thread, people are in panic and dont knwo what the hell is goin on and why is broken, not enough QA, push from management, activision choking wow team when 8.3 wasnt ready just to sell a mount, if that is not then i dont know what it is.

so he says, the fact that he is willing to purposely mislead people about the number laid off from WoW and that most of them weren’t in quality assurance makes everything suspect to me.
anyway this is off topic and not part of this thread.

So it looks like these issues cannot be resolved with a ticket. I went to cancel mine and there is no option to cancel it, like there usually is next to the submit button. Anyone know how to cancel a ticket lol?
you have feeling with that youtuber, thats ok, but you are hearing the things in a different, you are acusing him of misleading, do your post about it, but the not dev teams of wow were impacted, AH bugs are not the only ones, the quality is clearly impacted, if you want to keep the panic there is no thing i can do, carry on sir

So blue posts on here can only confirm that there is an issue. There has been nothing to confirm nor deny whether or not people will be getting their gold back. My question is, why is the auction house still running? Why is Blizzard allowing people to post auctions if they can’t even confirm people will be receiving the money they lost?
I placed a ticket in, if I get a reply, I’ll screen shot it of what they say. However, a lot of people I’m seeing say that GM’s are pretty much telling them they can’t do anything, which seems a little uncalled for. You would think they could look back and see that people had X item and if it was sold.

As I mentioned above, I don’t think that they can simply “turn off” the AH.
With an issue of this scale, where almost every player is effected, they don’t fix these one-at-a-time.
This requires a development fix, not a ticket for a GM. Your reply, assuming it comes prior to the issue being resolved, will likely refer you to this thread that we’re already in.
Once a solution is available/implemented, then they’ll let us know what’s going on.
Until then, a ticket is simply clogging up the queue for issues that GMs can actually help with.

They have confirmed they can do exactly that.
The people you are making a ticket to can’t do anything though, it will be up to the IT people to program something.

How can you cancel tickets. Guy up above asked and I checked and I can’t seem to find a way either now.

I sold 4-5 enchants this afternoon
They’re no longer in the AH as Sold:
Nor in my mailbox.
theres a known mail bug atm, id hold off selling anything else unless it gets sorted, you can put in a ticket and they will check the logs and what not but id suspect it may be delayed as they need to fix it for everyone first before they start returning items/gold to people
Review the ticket you sent in, at the bottom there should be in blue letters that says “cancel ticket”.
I’m showing the cancel option in the normal place personally. Here’s a pic of a test ticket that I just opened and then cancelled:

That cancel option disappears after you hit submit.

(too lazy to black out a bunch of stuff so just picked up the bottom.)
That’s odd. I had indeed submitted my ticket and still had the cancel option. I wonder if it’s a time related issue? Meaning, if you’ve had your ticket in for ‘x’ amount of time, then it can no longer be cancelled. If I find out, I’ll let you know
Haha That’s why I did the same.
ok thanks. I had two tickets outstanding not sure that makes a difference or not.
