Banking toon- Marbles - Proudmoore. I had upwards of 2.5mil gold worth of Auctions listed. After checking this morning about 1.3mil of it has disappeared off the auction house.
Nothing in my mail, this has been a severe blow my account. I’ve been trying to work towards my brutosaur and this just set me back months of work. I do hope blizzard comes up with a fair solution.
Past 3 days huge auction issues, same as all people above. Started with half my auctions not reaching my mailbox to none at all. Sold tons and tons of items on AH yet not a gold reach my mailbox.
Any updates for us? I know you guys are all overwhelmed with all the posts and tickets as you’re trying to solve the issue but we’re all here wondering what is gonna happen with this problem? Not only we lost all of these items that were sold but we aren’t getting the gold for it either. Are you guys planning on refunding us all on it? Crossing fingers
The new auction house is very nice and all but doesn’t seem worth the loss of all this gold for us Hopefully you can manage to solve this quickly and the players aren’t losing all this gold after all. Doesn’t seem fair to penalize us for this bug.
Also, all my auctions were made from my baby alt Mellsbank - Area 52
This is crazy I lost hundreds of thousands of gold and yet you let people post more things. The AH should be temporarily disabled until this can be fixed for good.
The biggest problem here is that people are losing Real life money with this “bug” other people are buying wow tokens still and are able to purchase things. So if someone spends the $15 on a token, then buys two vial of the sands…Then the person who made the vial of the sands doesn’t receive their money what are the GM’s going to do about it???
Edit: I have also lost a lot of gold on my bank toon Harce, around 50k at least!! I haven’t received mail in over 2 days
If they give the item back to the person who lost the vial of the sands x2 then that person just missed out on being able to get his own wow token
GMs are not able to do anything about it right now as this is well beyond the purview of a GM. We are waiting for the developer and qa teams to sort out the issues. Until that happens, we don’t know what the resolution will be.
There is notification on the launcher and some things are working fine. It appears to be items that stack that are the issue and it may only be those that have partial amounts bought out.
Also had this happen to me on Runetotem/Uther servers. Have started taking screenshots when I notice items are sold and including them in my ticket. It does seem to be stacked items (pots, flasks, herbs, ore, etc) for the most part. Random pets and transmog items I’ve sold, the money does turn up in the mailbox.
No need for a ticket as there’s nothing a GM can do currently. You’re welcome to take screenshots, but understand that whatever resolution they come to, they’ll likely be using their internal logs to resolve this.
Thanks @Orlyia, i appreciate you keeping us informed when you can, and sorry about the flak you’re receiving from people who are upset. Hopefully this issue gets resolved relatively soon and hopefully find a way to get the missing gold back.
Yes DON’T hold your breath, because I put in a Ticket over an issue with the new AH setup, and got a response that told me they could do nothing ‘shock’, and that I would be better off posting in the forums to get actual changes made.
Either that, or try to tweet them about it, but the GMs that handle Support Tickets do not seem to have direct control over the game engine, or patch problems, and will tell you to try somewhere else. BOO Blizzard!!
Correct. Believe it or not, people in those roles are not involved in coding the game. Those would be developers and the QA team. As customers, we’re waiting for those teams to let CS know what’s going to be or can be done to resolve the issue.
