I’ve given up on that. I despise artificial FOMO. Many F2P games do this to get some people to behave impulsively. I was very disappointed when the decision was made to remove such a unique mount.
Being transparent? We have you telling people to leave everything be and not to pull any auctions, and we have Kaotic telling people that Blizzard will NOT be restoring gold or products.
if you seriously don’t understand people’s frustration, then maybe customer support isn’t the line of work for you. The primary job of a SUPPORT person is to SUPPORT them. Give them information and understanding. At this point you have given only conflicting information, and zero understanding.
As for being trolled… try being a paying customer who just lost product at the cost of the company, being told that it won’t be replaced even though it was company error. THAT is being trolled.
Orlyia is being as communicative as possible at this point, but folks have to understand the coding behind this isn’t black and white.
I lost about 10-20k, not a ton thanks to the forum posts and Orlyia’s messages to letting me know its an actual issue being researched, and I’d love to get the gold back as I see here that folks have lost 100-200k plus gold in auctions that doesn’t count the folks who haven’t reported it.
Telling everyone to pull everything from the AH may sound like the idea to give, but it is ultimately the players choice since even in this thread some folks have received their gold while others have not.
I personally appreciate the conversation from the CS team doing their best to keep us up to date, but ultimately the developers are the ones who can say what to communicate and what not too. I am sure the devs are working to resolve the issue along with multiple others (like the bugged world quests at the moment). Asking them to prioritize your bug above all others isn’t truly fair as we don’t know all the bugs out there and some may be ultimately game breaking worse then this one.
I have removed most of my auctions, but left some minor ones up as a test for my own end to see if a back-end bug gets put in, that was what I chose to do. We all can make our own decisions here so if you want to risk losing gold go ahead or remove them and have to repost them all.
return the gold that the auction stayed and people already calm down, we are upset because a gm tells us that that gold has already been lost, as he has no trouble saying it and it hurts us
During the past day I have watch a minimum of 50K worth of auctions that I have posted sell with no gold actually being sent to my mail box. However the items have been removed from my stock
The point is that returning the gold isn’t as easy as that, and isn’t something the GMs are in charge of for this issue. Complain if this gets resolved and Blizz doesn’t have a way to reimburse people, but for now the issue is still being investigated and fixed. We can push for reimbursements later after the fix has gone through and they know what caused it.
we have to wait, if there is a gold loss atleast dont remove the longboi, im in a horrible realm to be able to buy it and this delays makes only things worse
I think people just want to know that in addition to researching how to fix the bug, Blizzard is also going to research how to restore missing gold caused by the bug.
Same here. I couldn’t understand that I was selling almost nothing, but after seeing 8000g worth of auctions as sold from my bank-alt Sandugo (4x 20 Quick Beryl) and not receiving the money this morning, I now know this to be an issue
