My first delve I have done today was a rank 8. I completed it and only got 200 for completing it and got no delver journey from the bountiful chest. I did get the quest item that gave 1500.
Is this correct? I thought you got journey from the chest and for completing it
This seems 100% unintended. Season 1/2 gave Journey for both completion and chest. You would need to grind an unreasonable amount to get the map.
My friend and I ran 4 Bountiful Tier 8 Delves today. In two of those delves, we had the portal alternate route show up for us. Instead of being at 3,100 journey progress, we are both at 2,300 progress.
its not the alternate route. I just did a t8 bountiful with coffer key, full run, and only got 200 delvers journey. it was my second run. My first run was a t11 bountiful with coffer key and it gave 300 total. So either delves are just giving bugged journey progress or it has changed and not giving what has been posted by others on wowhead.
I also have seen this and wondered about that. I have made posts on other sites for this issue
This is likely not a bug, as they don’t want people getting Delver’s Bounties so quickly in the first week (or they wouldn’t have repackaged it as a perk we have to “earn” [again]).
I tried t8 and t11 get 200 for t8 with key open chest and 300 t11 with key not giving anything for the basic completion like it did in season 1/2
Same experience here. Certainly de-incentivized the running of delves for me.
Sigh. One more bug among scores, if not hundreds…
After completing several t8 delves, I did not receive any journal progress unless a key was used.
When doing t11 bountiful delves, going to loot the nemesis strongbox shows 125 delvers journey, but when I loot my EXP does not actually progress. Experiencing in multiple delves across diff characters
it appears it was a bug, or they just decided to make it better. Just did a t11 bountiful, and it awarded 250 for completion, 300 from the bountiful chest, and 125 from the full nemesis chest, so 675 total for a full t11 bountiful clear 
We’re aware of and working to fix issues that have been preventing Delver’s Journey progress from being awarded as intended.
We will soon grant Delver’s Journey to all War Within players to shore up the missing progress. After the grant goes out, you’ll see it when you next log in.

LOL! Why did you delete my post about changing the delve progress track so that map drops don’t require rank 2? I didn’t even get an automated moderator message about the removal, way to scrub the thread, real classy!
Yeah, definitely not true. I’ve done multiple t11 delves and I get zero xp for delver’s journey, oh and the ticket that I did open the BOT CS agent gave me an automated template regarding addon usage and clearing my system cache lmao CS is an absolute joke these days. It used to be bad, but now it might as well be a monkey you’re speaking to.
Not getting xp from bountiful delves. My log says brann is getting all kinds of xp but nothing in my delvers journey progress bar except from the loot chests at the end of the delve. Nothing from the little jar despite saying 2125 xp, nothing from mobs, nothing from completing the delve despite it saying over 5k xp in my log. Two days in a row now.
Brann xp and delvers journey xp are not the same thing. Brann levels up, just like a character would. Delvers journey is more akin to a renown track.
Does this mean players will reach Journey rank 2 with this lump sum and unlock their bounty maps or just “X amount given” and players will need to continue grinding multiple alts if they want to unlock the maps this week?
Still not receiving Delve journey xp on completion.
Did an Waterworks T11 Bountiful (no key).
Started with 3830 to next reward. Ended with 3705 to next reward.
ONLY received 125 from the nemesis chest.
No XP on completion.
