The Ethereal Routing Stations (or portals) do not award the Flickering spoils.
Also there seems some reports of inconsistent rewards from either loot or delve’s seasonal journey here and here.
I’m having the same issue. It was my understanding that taking the waygate would give you all of the rewards for the delve, and I am defintely not getting the flickering spoils when I complete a delve via a waygate.
They should reward flickering spoils assuming you have clicked the Flickerportal in the delve prior.

This worked for me yesterday. The rewards are in a purplish white chest in the treasure room. Are you saying the chest isn’t there or that it is empty?
I saw one yesterday. It was a bit farther off than the treasures tho.
I did a T11 delve, with delver’s bounty map and went into the routing station, killed that stuff got the treasure, and no hidden trove, looked all around, kind of a bummer since the bounty maps are one per week and I could really use the piece of hero gear 
I always avoid that delve as its my least favorite delve by far. Very difficult to navigate.
