Dark Ranger

  • They’ve been very active throughout BFA

  • They now have male models
    *Unique Dark Ranger only spells, some from Heroes of the Storm Sylvanas skills. (Wailing Arrow)

  • *New ones are being risen and have been risen.

  • *New Armor

  • *New Dark Rangers are being trained (per the datamined Scarlet Halls: Dark Ranger scenario)

  • New voice lines

  • There are strong death/undeath themes in BFA which leads me to feel that next expansion with be death related.

  • They wear mail and shoot bows and guns.

  • A healing spec based on the healing aspects of the Banshee is possible (Remember the Darkshore Banshee transformation is primarily focused on healing.)

  • Sylvanas MIGHT go the way of Arthas and Illidan and go her own way. (DKs and Demonhunters)

  • Like DKs Sylvanas MIGHT decide to open up the class to all races.

  • We know that Blood Elves, Night Elves and Humans (per Nathanos) can be Dark Rangers for sure. Undead might be able to as well. So it’s not limited to just elves.

This is all assuming that the Dark Ranger Scenario doesn’t unlock either customization or an allied race upon completion. The two points before the last on the lists are speculation based on observation.

no m+ is their baby esport the meta will stay the same.one spec like bear tank mite get buffed but they will never nerf dk’s and monks in to the ground…

New ANTI-HERO class: Tourist

The tourist’s abilities include:

  • pet: sentient luggage - extra bag space
  • party buffs: sun screen, bug repellent, trail mix snacks
  • weapon: camera
  • abilities: flash-bulb aoe blind/stun
  • traveller’s checks: extra loot/gold bonus to all party members who keep the tourist alive and unharmed!

Tourist advancment is based purely on filling their photo album with snapshots of specific areas.

It is the ultimate ‘casual’ player class.

Seems pretty obvious it’s going to be Dark Rangers and all those undead Night Elves are going to say “lol just kidding” then be welcome back into the Alliance with open arms as once again at the end of the expansion we forget the atrocities people commit because reasons.

Well a bard would have no real place in WoW. They have no real place as a support / buff class, they would just get worked into being another healer.

I’m also thinking Blizzard needs to stop adding classes and just make the ones we have more enjoyable. But if we were to get a new one, it NEEDS to be healer / double ranged DPS. No melee options.

New dev team announced at Blizzcon would be better, we certainly don’t need a new class, especially since the classes we do have are so screwed at the moment. They should fix the classes we do have before making new broken ones.

Ehh. I rather have a biologist or alchemist based class. They have them in game. Looks fun and interesting.

Bards and Tinkers sound so dumb. Let’s copy every other rpg in the history of man to try and make everything the same.

I’m pushing for some kind of stretchy class like Mr Fantastic or Elastigirl type thing. Give every attack between a 12 and 22 yard range (oscillating between that top and bottom)
Maybe it’s a bad idea but at least it’s different.

Tinker and dark ranger are so unappealing.

They really need a new true caster. The spell blade (melee, tank, or ranged) would be very cool.

But it will be tinker. Because they may as well combine the budget with HotS marketing.

I didn’t say anything about lore. If anything they DO exist in lore because we have the ETC. They DON’T exist in game play. Bards are not a healer class, they are a support class through buffing / debuffing. WoW is a 3 role meta and bards would be a 4th role in that they are a support. So they would probably get shoehorned into being healers instead of buffers. Some sort of mash-up of Paladins, Shaman, and priests. Bards in MMOs usually just turn out to be healers with a musical theme, instead of true bards as they exist outside of games.

And resto Shamans are basically Tidesages so I begrudgingly acknowledge the lore supporting them. It’s a stretch, but they are no more of a stretch than Tauren Sunwalkers.

I’d rather see a lot of fixes and other changes first though.

I want something like FF’s Red Mage. Maybe a Spellblade class like those Nightborne from Suramar or maybe Shadow Hunter? Idk. I just want the class fantasy of being in the fray but also being able to cast offensive, defensive, or healing spells. Whatever class it is they need to wear mail. The number of mail users compared to everything else is disproportionate.
