New class announced at blizz con?

if we take the trend of class announcements since wrath there will be a new class announced at blizz con.wrath had dk announced,cata no,mop was monk,wod no,legion had demon hunters and bfa no class was announced.

if if we follow the trend there should be a new class announced i hope its a bard class my self.

what do you guys think?

Yeah, I guess its about time for a bard class. Can’t wait to strum my instrument and cause massive hearing damage to mobs.

I think they need to focus on the classes they already got and get their player base happy before adding any more classes. A bard would be cool tho.

Really want a Ranged Class Spec than a Melee Dps one.

I’d rather not have bards, it’ll be annoying honestly, especially the sound effects that it’ll have. It needs to be ranged though, maybe a necromancer(if we get a wotlk 2.0/black empire mix expansion, it just might happen) or tinker(all specs have to be ranged tbough, no melee). I’m trying to think of any other range classes they could add but I can’t atm.

Demon hunters were fun and engaging, but rotation can get a bit stale, very basic.

I’m hoping for something more complex, tinker maybe, but where you actually need to plan your rotation, where it’s not just spamming 1 2 3, but synchronizing your spells in different ways.

there are only 2 more melee specs than ranged. It wouldn’t be a big deal if 1 were melee or tank or heals. Realistically a Tinker would make the most sense as a hybrid.

I think allied races are the only new toys they’ll be giving out anymore.

Maybe a new race copied from an existing model.

Tinker could be interesting if they do something akin to Druids’ “shapeshift” for specs but instead have it be an equipment load-out.

  1. Tank - big mech suit, saw blade hands, hammer hands.
  2. Ranged DPS - no mech suit. Dual-wielding small guns/blasters and maybe some kind of booster/jet pack to help them move around.
  3. Healer - no mech suit. strong single-target healing by shooting healy juice at primary target, with the option to overload the juice shooter to spray on several targets. Carries a big ol’ pack of healy juice on back, a la Morales in HotS.

Just something to make the class feel unique when/if we get it.

Oh absolutely that’s what they SHOULD do. But come on, this current squad is all about shiny new things to attempt to distract from broken old/current things.

What about a bard class that can be a melee spec and shoot spells from his instrument for a ranged spec?

I think if they do announce a new class it will be either Tinker or shadow hunter/warden.

Personaly though i would like a batle mage class.

Here is how i think each might have spec-wise.

Tinker:

  1. Tank:Mechsuit as transformation ala druid.
  2. Healer: Medic style healing with bandage guns triage fields and some healbots.
  3. Dps: Gadgeteer with gun as weapon
    (3a. Personal wish: Dps wrench melee with gadgets and tazers and other titan lightning stuff)
  4. Races: Gnomes/Goblins for sure
    maybe Draenai/Blood Elves as arcane crystal constructs
    maybe Dwarves?Undead as titan researchers and mad scientists respectively
    maybe Humans/Orcs as Skybreaker and Zepelin engineers aesthetically(not likely though)
  5. Allied races: maybe LFD, Maghar, DID, NightBorne.
  6. Armor:Mail

Shadow Hunter/Warden:

  1. Dps: range bow with dark themed spells and no pet.
  2. Dps: Mid range bow/dual daggers/glaives swithcing between melee and range for max dmg
  3. Tank: Shadow Tank themed
  4. Races: Night Elves/ Undead
    maybe Worgen/Blood Elves(not likey)
  5. Allied Races: none
  6. Armor:Mail

Battemage:

  1. Tank: basically spellblade Aluriel with marks for threat and aoe, fire and ice imbued weapon strikes
    OR Dps: Spellblade with Arcane based strikes and spells, Iconic:Blink strike which would Be Blink and charge into on
  2. Healer: Chronomancer with more active healing through shields and transferring karma and stuff
  3. Dps: Spellbow, enough said.
  4. Races: pretty much everybody
  5. Allied races: same
  6. Armor Mail.

id take a battle mage or bard but a tinker/shadow hunter and warden are all to similar to what we have in game and i wouldnt roll one of them
