Blizzard is the one who defines what is CHEATING in the game. Because it is THEIR game. Ok, last word. You do not define cheating, Blizzard defines what is cheating. Since they set the rules.
I don’t define cheating. Oxford defines cheating.
What the argument really boils down to is multiboxers wanting to just be left alone and a bunch of people going
No. That’s not right at all. If they wanted to be left alone they wouldn’t be multiboxing causing all the fuss. Or be in warmode killing people leveling and solo players.
I don’t use warmode. I don’t farm.
I roleplay, level, and do daily quests.
However I do get people on WRA just like you who send me tells saying that I should end my own life.
Stay out of war mode if you don’t want to pvp. War mode is for players who want to wpvp, not for players to get a free ride to level.
MAYBE! just maybe there is a way where everyone can win in the end. It would depend on the person and why they multi-box.
I find the wow community generally very toxic. Not because I can’t deal with people. I learned at an early age that people are generally jerks. So this has pushed me into the box of wanting to play the game and have fun by myself.
MAYBE! just maybe if we all work together and alleviate some of the toxicity of the general wow community. Multi-boxers might have at least another reason to not multi-box since the community would be more civil instead of toxic. Which would encourage people to play together instead of solo multi-boxing.
Blizzard has declared it is not cheating. You think this is your game to selectively apply your interpretation of a dictionary definition and force them to dumb down the game for people who are too cheap or too lazy. Are you also working to get them to give you free store mounts, too? Surely that’s an unfair advantage that people who are too cheap to pay for them end up losing out on.
It’s up to Blizzard to make their rules and decide how to enforce them. They could legitimately rule the topic off-limits as “decided” and ban people like you who keep trying to mislead readers with deliberate lies you keep posting.
My guess is there’s only a few of these trolls who have many accounts they spam hot button topics with.
You people seem very defensive for something that “isn’t cheating” lol. You sound like those people who complain about griefers griefing.
It’s because people have been beating the dead horse for years.
It’s not a dead horse though. Multiboxing is alive and is cheating.
Blizzard has been saying it’s fine since the beginning and that has not changed.
It’s tiring to see crybabies who are mad about not being able to farm Zin’anthid all the way to a long boi using my playstyle as a scapegoat.
People could stay in their own lanes and learn to play the auction house like a normal person.
If it wasn’t cheating then you wouldn’t hear these people complain.
The person you’re replying to spent a good deal of time arguing about the definition of “intolerant” the other day and invalidating the identity of a huge swath of actual human beings because they know everything and are always “right” and get very upset when they are called a bigot despite acting in a bigoted manner.
Dictionary definitions only apply when THEY say it does.
Also said essentially “I should wear a maga hat just because it riles up the left” and something about how “leftist politics are rampant in this game!”
So it doesn’t surprise me that they are futilely and petulantly trolling this thread. Whining and stamping their feet about how what other people do is “cheating” when it literally makes no impact to their life or gameplay at all. We exist and are OUT THERE…potentially doing things THEY can’t. So it MUST be cheating.
So let them rest comfortably in their delusion that they are somehow “moral” and “correct” and we’re “cheaters” while we must sadly only have the fact that they can’t do a single thing to make us go away or do what they want us to do and we can continue to play how we want, when we want, as they have to just shut and up and deal with it.
It’s not cheating. They’re just crybabies.

Yikes. Thanks for the 411.

You’re trying to remove a style of gameplay over some personal reason that has nothing to do with reality.
If you can’t afford an extra $15 a month for a second account, you probably shouldn’t be playing a subscription videogame anyway.
Why do people get so aggressive that they want to remove all gameplay that doesn’t incorporate theire own idiosyncratic bucket list of restrictions they apply to themselves?
This is all I felt like posting, lots more threads though
Nearly every single material, every single crafted item(even level 60s ones), and every single green is slightly above vendor value, and when you factor in listing fees, it’s a loss to AH over vendoring. TSM tracks all AH prices globally, so people are using that as what to list items for, and some servers have 100+ 60’s while others only have a handful. This is incredibly unfair for servers without tons of 60’s and just ruins their prices even though the supply is low just because other server…
As a 55 toon multi boxer I just wanted to say thank you! Please do not cave to vocal minority. Stay strong Blizzard.
Instead of slowing TSM down for certain players, just tax them exponentially. For example, if you sell or relist more than 10 times per day, every listing fee gets increased to 500%; at 20 transactions/day the listing fee is 1000%, at 30 transactions/day, listing fee is 2000%, etc. without a limit on the listing fees. This will prevent constant undercutting by brutosaur owners and ensure that professionals can only participate in several markets instead of dominating every market and thus allow…
Or atleast the Sniper “auto buy” option or anything that functions like it. I remember when I actually had fun in this game manually searching for deals, doing research, ect. Now you just afk and watch a movie with an addon that will ping when a “deal” is posted and you can insta-buy it so nobody has a chance. It screws over people who accidently post wrong value (forgot a 0 or something) Its basically botting because you don’t play the game you wait until something happens while it does all…
While I believe TSM has a place in Retail. The functionality it brings is far beyond the capabilities we had back in Classic. The flood of single stack posting at the click of one button has already started and allowed depression of anything that is being done. As putting up and pulling down is a far more efficient than the tools we had with Auctionator or Auctioneer back in the good old days of Vanilla. With features missing from AH like sorting by stack size. This mod needs to be addresse…
People really hate TSM lol
Classic has been a game where you farm mats and vend them out because blizzard kept such a tight control over income for most players. I don’t think that’s relevant to the present situation.
