M+ leaving epidemic still widespread

Certainly not, but then again, I’ve said M+ was stupid since Legion.

Don’t worry, once people get to +12, they’ll probably realize one shots in harder one shots, doesn’t really make for a compelling experience all season long.

At least… one person who is trying +12 is complaining about that already.

Not withstanding the loot issues with M+, a better design would be to cut down on how aggressively HP and damage scale, and keep adding on extra mechanics as things go up.

How many years have I been saying add a new affix with every keystone level?

Many.

An extra mechanic like every 5 key levels per boss would be great.

Affix (extra mechanic) every 3 key levels(2, 5, 8, 11, etc), scaling changed from 10% exponential to 15% linear, fort/tyran removed.

fort/tyrannical are already essentially removed because they’re both applied.

Right, which is why the sum total of all current affixes is going to be +4 key levels.

I suppose it depends on how people look at it. Imagine if +12 was the baseline, then every key is easier in relation to that because of less affixes.

Maybe a counter of some sort to show how many times someones left mid-key, i’d be down with. But punishments?

Why?

It’s not like doing random queue where you have no choice over who you play with, M+ pugs you choose who you want in your group. If you want more reliability, you play with friends or guildies.

Problem with that is said number is useless without context.

:man_shrugging:

Just an attempt solution to a post I don’t agree with at all.

The real solution is already in game, and that’s play with people you know instead of randoms.

But, for a lot of these people, making friends appears to be a foreign concept, so it gets shot down as a non-starter.

If we can at least get casuals in the door that’d be appreciated so easier affixes at the start with light on the scaling

Casuals have a place within heroic dungeons.

According to some here, they think premade groups are “control”.

And I’ve been fighting for queues for basically years by this point.

The problem is with an actual queue, people would be complaining more than they already do.

lol that is so rude and dismissive.

They complain as they do now like they would then.

No, it’s not.

It’s not a huge leap from heroic to mythic dungeons.

One where no mechanics happen (or if they do) it doesn’t matter. The other where mechanics happen, and they still largely don 't matter.

Oh and people complain about dawnbreaker, imagine a mechanic killing you… as early as normal.
