So, Gotham is the show with both a Lesbian and Gay couple. While sexuality was diverse, other minority groups weren’t like POC. It’s a very white show, but I digress. The Lesbian couple were kissing quite, a lot. Gotham had no issues showing them kiss. The Gay couple, however never kissed. They’ve hugged, and one of them admitted to “loving” them, but the other didn’t “love them back” (which isn’t really true, IMO, but that’s another conversation), however they still cared for each other and continued hugging and their story had way more depth and layers to it than the Lesbian couple. I felt like the Lesbian couple were just “friends with benefits”, if I’m being honest with you
No depth, AT ALL between them. But, there was definitely heart between the two men, and that’s why they have my heart and not the lesbian couple.

It went right into the nitty gritty of life in Rome, there were quite a few same-sex relationships in the show and it was Game of Thrones before Game of Thrones was Game of Thrones.
