LFD kick abusers have made the WoW experience miserable for my friend

youre being totally disengeniuos here.
That stupid vote kick box is DEAD CENTER of your screen.
Ive voted yes early on just to get it out of my face having NO CLUE why they were actually trying to kick the player.
People in THIS forum have admitted to voting yes ONLY to get the vote kick box off their screen.

there are likely a TON of vote kicks that pass simply because blizzard decided to put that stupid kick box center screen where you cant see half of what youre doing until you clear it out.

Personally ive started reporting any player I see mocking someone in game over their skill level.
The Social Contract says not to do it, so lets see if blizzard is going to uphold the thing or if its just trash talking that doesnt actually mean anything

Easy way to learn to heal is, go out where those big world rares are and start healing anyone whose health is diving
They will appreciate the heals and a few times of that where there is no stress will help you get used to healing.
I did that for a while before trying in dungeons. Worked really well.
Then move to leveling dungeons because they are silly easy. Only way they go wrong is usually if a tank keeps over pulling those abominable fearing mobs lol.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:
“ive been playing wow for years now and Im good enough that I never get kicked anymore…therefore some NEWB shouldnt be kicked either”

I believe we call that a ‘non sequitur’ fallacy, if memory serves

How do you define treating fellow gamers justly? Even your paraphrasing here is so vague that its can mean basically anything you want…

I really hope high school debate classes have adopted this style. It’s so compelling.

READ THIS thread, LOLOLOL
RIGHT HERE they say in breath 1 that they are allowed to kick for any reason they want with blizzards blessing…literally DEFENDING the behavior…then in breath 2 theyre claiming it never happens

Im one of them and have been for a bit now.

  1. First part these days practically requires you to play the game long enough to meet enough cool players to be friends with, no? (Most recruitment Discord activity I’ve seen in MMOs is oriented for veteran players seeking endgame guilds)

  2. This is not in keeping with the needs of the game. How often do we as a player base complain about the healer and tank shortage? How miserable are newbie DPS, because “sorry you’re dime a dozen”? So we want newbies to be even more inclined to start as DPS, then? Hmmmm. Doesn’t seem to add up, there.

On a community level, often gives a vibe of “tell us you don’t want new people playing the game without telling us you don’t want new people playing the game” - which, frankly, today’s “respect my every second and never inconvenience ME” culture seems to want, but … that’s also not a thing to be proud of …

and yet, when I made a thread asking TANKs to know a BASIC path thru dungeons BEFORE tanking them this forum lost its mind at THAT request. lol
The selective outrage in here is laughably vomitous most days. lol

You can vote to kick anyone for any reason. That is not abuse, it is the intended function of the system.

Oh, you’re admitting to trolling? Fair enough, I suppose.

106 posts and they think other people are “obsessed” with this topic.

They’re so salty that it’s not abuse despite how badly they want it to be :frowning: I guess by calling other people their son, they somehow gain clout?

The social contract is a summary of the EULA. Nothing more. Blues, as in Blizzard employees, have made it clear ever since the V2K system was put into place, that it’s not abuse to kick people for any reason.

Now, let’s wait for them to go on and on about transmogs again. It’s the only thing they’re clinging to.

Seems to be part of the current human condition anymore.
Clearly the ill mannered sort in game are simply projecting their own personal misery onto players in this MMO.
We know they are because one group will actually help a new players or someone who needs to be better skilled at something…while another group of ill mannered sorts will kick at the first hint of weakness instead of helping someone who might be wanting to learn the game and would actually be a great player with a little guidance.

I stopped progressing beyond LFR SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE of PLAYERS disgusting behaviors.
The game itself needs work but its not the reason I decided that soloing is better for me so I dont end up posting something at one of the miserables in chat that’ll leave emotional scars.
They arent worthy of the attention or energy it would take

edit…as a side note, the reading comprehension of some here is atrocious

These are only suggestions, not rules.

literally proved every word Ive said about you all in this thread.
“blizzard allows me to treat other player like trash, so I will”

I also said Im perma blocking anyone to condones this ill treatment of other players for no good reason…so welcome to the list.

Now PLEASE complain about it and prove the hypocrisy.

but but but…its ONLY a suggestion, dont ya know

what is pathetic is ADULTS having to be TOLD to treat other human beings decently.

This isn’t a hard concept to grasp. Removing someone from a group does not mean someone is being rude, griefing, etc. Nothing is against the code of conduct here, it is not abuse.

You keep saying things like this, I don’t think you have done so in response to a single message that actually said anything along those lines.

Thankfully that sort seems to mostly keep themselves confined to certain areas of the game…no need to get into that detail.
But they do make players miserable when they come down into leveling dungeons because their bloated ego causes them to cause wipe after wipe

The irony is palpable.
They dont want YOU inconveniencing THEM…but they have ZERO problem letting their arrogance cause four other players to take 3 times as long to get a simple leveling dungeon over with over a handful of preventable wipes. lol

I guess that means that Blizzard is on “the list” too. Probably best to stop posting on their forums and paying them money to play a game that you disagree with.

If it’s not abuse, what’s the correct term? "Unreasonable?’ “Unjustified?” “Immoral?” Or is all morality subjective according to the average gamer?

Unreasonable, sure, but people have to remember that it is still voted on, meaning even if the person being kicked might think it’s unreasonable, the majority of the group thinks otherwise.

There is no such thing as vote kick abuse, it’s literally impossible.

A vote kick you don’t like.

Exactly
what it is is…“daddy bliz said I could abuse players who havent done anything wrong and being who I am, I will”

Notice how you get into one group and they are easy going and no one gets kicked for anything even if they make really bad mistake a few times…then you get that band of miserables and they’ll kick for literally nothing.

This isnt about the game…OR about blizzards rules. Its about the PERSONs playing the game.
Some behave like civil human beings…others dont

You made this person up to get mad about, and argue against.

Creepy that you call them “daddy”…but Blizz didn’t say it’s okay to abuse others. They specifically said that this is not considered abuse. You know, because it’s their game and stuff.

And when the majority of those “persons” don’t want to play with someone in their group, those “persons” get to vote to kick them. It’s really not that hard to understand. Majority rules. Don’t agree with the kick reason? Then don’t vote to kick them. Vote against it. Nobody is forced to agree with a kick.
