No, but you are assuming just because it hasn’t shown up in the RNG BMAH that it must be broken. It isn’t.
3-5 items once a day is a low probability.
Mounts are a lower than normal chance too relative to the other items.

Please don’t tell me you think that there is only one BMAH per region.
Blizzard said it was going to be on the BMAH after removing it from the vendor.
On every unique server for both the EU and NA/OCE regions.
I think it can also have more than 5 items, but someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
No, but each BMAH has an independent probability. So the number stays low.
Please don’t tell me you think there are thousands of servers.
I’ve seen up to 8 on my own.
The “it’s just RNG bro!” people are in denial or gaslighting or something.
Ok, lets pretend it is 8 every time.
It needs to first roll a mount. Then roll the specific mount that you are looking for.
The odds are not in your favor.
Oh I don’t, but my head is in reality.
Here’s a hint: each line listed in this article has its own BMAH:
To dumb it down for you, there’s 144 unique BMAHs in just NA.
There’s 94 in Europe.
So if you think it’s acceptable that 238 x (number between 3 and 8) x 365 = 1 Bruto appearance, then I have nothing else to say to you.
Let me teach you a little bit about how math works.
There is a list of all of the mounts that can show up on the BMAH. Remember it includes even mounts that come from bosses too.
So that is 58 mounts right there.
So even on the off chance any one of your AH’s rolls a mount (which isn’t every day) it is still a 1:58 chance, which is less than 2%.
The next day, the same probability, since the prior events have no bearing on subsequent ones.
And we aren’t even taking into account the fact that a mount doesn’t always roll despite there being up to 8 items, but as low as 3.
Also… not to nitpick.

Ever since July 10th, the Brutosaur has been missing from the BMAH. In the thread, posted by Sapu, they confirmed that TradeSkillMaster has not found any evidence that the Bruto has been seen since then.BUT, It has been spotted this morning on EU Hyjal! This is the first time since July that it has been seen on the BMAH! Maybe its back for good!
So that was about 4 months ago. Guess it’s time to reset your counter.
So you are just flat wrong. It is rare. By design.
Hmm, it’s as if that’s only confirmed what I said. Now you’re just straight-up trolling.
Between that and “it’s ok that the Bruto has shown up once out of 365,000 rolls”, I must say this is a new low for the Blizzard defense force.
I actually have so many mounts you’d fall asleep if I tried to show you them all
Sorry had to make that about me…
Why are you multiplying by 12 months if there was a sighting 4 months ago. At most you should be multiplying by 8 months - which would drop your number by almost 100k.
Also your math assumes an equal probability on all items on the BMAH, which I frankly don’t think is the case. I have no way of verifying it, but neither do you, and yours is a “best case scenario” of all items have an equal chance of appearing.

There I’ll put everyone to sleep for you

You mean the ONE sighting in the past 12 months, which some people might call a year? You know, the very thing this thread is complaining about? Feel free to keep giving the thread free bumps but I’m not going to waste my time reading your bait anymore.
t most you should be multiplying by 8 months - which would drop your number by almost 100k.
Using your numbers then, you think it’s fine that 265k rolls = 1 appearance. Welcome to the ignore list.

Right but it was 8 months between sightings and only 4 months since the last one.
Using your numbers then, you think it’s fine that 265k rolls = 1 appearance. Welcome to the ignore list.
And your logic again still assumes an equal probability of all of the items in the BMAH appearing, which is comical at best.
Anywho, best of luck as you sit there checking every AH across all realms. Let’s hope they don’t merge more realms and/or add more items to the pool.
Maybe next time buy it while it is “current”… or just admit that FOMO sucks and move on.
You should have bought it when it was out!
But you’ll still never see an AH that isn’t in a static location again because of the botting abuse that Blizzard wasn’t expecting when they initially designed the Brutosaur.
This is NOT why they removed the Brutosaur from the vendors. They specifically said they removed it because they didn’t want it to become as common as the repair mounts. If it was a botting issue, they would have said so.
The Mighty Caravan Brutosaur is something that fundamentally alters players’ flow around the world, and it’s a unique convenience, but it’s certainly not essential. We’ve seen how luxury mounts like the Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth started out as something special and rare: a repair vendor wherever you are! They were originally ultra-exclusive and mostly purchased by guild banks for convenient raid use, but then became increasingly commonplace due to gold inflation over time.
We think that a moderate amount of gold inflation is healthy. It ensures that new or returning players can catch up and participate in server economies without having to put in a herculean effort to avoid being priced out of essential goods. In this case, we want to ensure that in the long run, years from now, we don’t find ourselves looking around and seeing AH mounts that are as common as repair mounts are today.
They specifically said they removed it because they didn’t want it to become as common as the repair mounts.
It’s a shame they didn’t simply gold cap it. I mean the 5 mil price alone kept it from being common, but gold capping it would’ve did a fine job too.
It’ll be interesting to see if they use BFA Timewalking as a chance to bring it back and stick it on a vendor, either gold cap on the TW vendor or a stupid amount of badges.
Irrespective of all the arguments, the reality is it’s to small a problem to ever be fixed.
More importantly, I will feel important and special with my Dino mount, which you can’t have anymore.

Big yikes there pal
Personally, I wish they would offer a non-AH version. I just want the model. I don’t need a mobile AH. Making a non-AH model available from the vendor would solve Blizz’s issue with an AH mount being “common” and satisfy a lot of us who just want a giant sauropod mount. There are even plenty of models in the data base already, so it wouldn’t entail any serious work to make one available.

This is entirely true as well. I want a dino more than anything. I use a second toon for all of my AH’ing and that is far superior to an AH mount IMO. The AH spot could hold a mailbox or something. That’d actually be kind of cool - two players with an AH and non-AH bruto could team up and use each other’s brutos!
