This first happened on my Druid here, where my stack of Vibrant Polishing Cloths just…disappeared the other day. I though hey maybe that crafting order I just did accidentally consumed them ALL instead of just one. Or maybe I just used my last one and forgot. Oh well, they’re cheap, so I bought 30 more. Next time I log in, they’re back. Now my stack of 30 is back up to 70-something. What the heck? Oh well, at least it fixed itself.
Today it happened again, but on my Warrior. Again, right after I completed some personal work orders, I noticed a few empty slots in my reagent bag and I KNOW I didn’t use up my entire stack of multiple ores and other mats making a single green ore satchel and two green herb sickles. I also did two public orders where ALL materials were provided, if that is useful information.
I reload, switch zones, go do other stuff, nothing happens. I still have empty holes in my reagent bag. I exit wow completely, restart and log back in and POOF my flux, bolts and ore are back where they belong, just like nothing happened at all.
This is a super strange bug that I kind of want to test further, but I also need to do other things today so hopefully the heads up will help until it gets identified and/or fixed.
Same thing just happened to me. I skinned up a bunch of Rockfang leather, did two personal treatise, logged into an alt to send a treatise order to myself, logged back into my main and no Rockfang. It’s not in my bags and the order is telling me I don’t have any.
Unfortunately exiting and logging back in hasn’t made them reappear.
Edit: It’s back. Logged on today and my Rockfang leather is back. As is all the burnished ink I thought had disappeared but wasn’t sure about. Makes me wonder what else has been going walkabouts.
This is still an issue. I sent my enchanter a whole bunch of orders from alts for enchanted whelpling crests, after confirming that she had enough mats to make them, and poof ALL of my enchanting mats disppear from my reagent bag after a logout partway through the process. Not amused.
This happened to me once at the start of S2, but it’s happened two times in a couple of days since the S3 patch. Occasionally I will be missing items out of my reagent bags, like bolts of cloth.
I’ve been selling various bolts of cloth since the start of the new season the first time it happened, ~400 3* Infurious Wildercloth Bolts were just gone. Their space in my reagent bag was just completely empty. Swapping other items to that spot did nothing and neither did adding more bolts of the same cloth. I submitted a ticket, but about 30-45 minutes later, the bolts came back after I had swapped back to that character after playing another one for a bit.
It just happened again a bit ago, but with ~350 3* Chronocloth Bolts. This time I tried restarting the game, my computer, and many other things and it took ~2 hours for them to reappear. I had someone else in my raid mention having a similar problem about a week ago, but unsure as to the exact day.
Still a problem as of patch 10.2.0.52188. A stack of Resonant Crystals and Vibrant Shards have vanished without a trace from my reagent bag. The bag was nowhere near full, so that doesn’t seem to be a factor. Logged out, restarted Battlenet client, and checked again - still missing. Hope they magically reappear soon.
I had a similar issue in a thread I posted in customer support a while ago. I have recently added to it with info that may or may not be useful to anyone looking into resolving this bug or duplicating my steps to make their items reappear.
It almost seems like a necro at this point, the issue has been happening for so long with no acknowledgement, but a guildie of mine crafted an item using an Insight last night and freaked out because his entire stack of 50-something disappeared. I told him it’s an ongoing issue and not to worry, they’d reappear eventually, and suggested that he try logging out and back in. As soon as he logged back in all of his Insights were back in his reagent bag thankfully, but if I wasn’t online when he said something…
Would be nice for this bug to be acknowledged and hopefully fixed. Still seems tied to the reagent bag somehow, as items always disappear and reappear from those bags only.
Since at least patch 10.1, I have occasionally had my stack of Rousing Earth “disappear” from my reagent bank on this character. And it’s always been the exact item each and every time it’s happened. No rhyme or reason to whenever it has happened; it just does.
April 2024 and this is still happening, stack of 200+ azureweave gone, reappeared when I relogged, then disappeared again and now won’t reappear after several log out attempts.
I’ve had this happen a couple times during the expansion. It’s generally around the start of a new season, possibly because I’m listing and selling more reagents? I had it happen yesterday, but I was able to get them back quickly by relogging.
Sometimes it just takes an hour or two to come back as far as I can tell. It’s very disconcerting when it’s a stack of 300 azureweave or 30 flavor pockets or something.
