Title says it all. I had 1000 mettle I know where it was in my reagent bags and it’s just gone now.
just relogged and my mettle is back. weird.

Just had this happen myself. Was panicking but thankfully found this thread.
How long after it vanished that did you log off? I am having this problem right now. all my mettle in my bank is gone. only remaining were the 175 in my bag. 2 weeks ago, all my stable fluidic draconium vanished from my bag and later found them on my DH
Better to start a new thread and folow my advice and file a bug report.
Did you check your Trade Skill Bank, Arthas? You have 125 in your Reagent Bag, but 929 in your Trade Skill Bank.

It’s funny this thread popped up again- I just lost ~650-700 mettle from my bags on logging in this evening.
Try moving some things around in your Reagent Bag, Finli. I can see 811 Artisan’s Mettle in their.
It’s possible it may be a storage or display issue not showing it.

No beans. Disabled all addons, shuffled things around. Also reloaded. Still showing 85 mettle in my reagent bag. Crafting window also only shows 85 available.
I’d recommend submitting a bug report so that our QA Team can take a look. Make sure to list the character impacted, since you are posting on a different character currently.

I see my thread helped some people but I would like to add to this thread actually, I had a similar issue where something else in my reagent bags vanished. for some reason if something in the reagent bag gets used it seems to have a chance to vanish. i noticed i listed like 2 leather from a stack of leather in my reagent bag into the auction house and the stack vanished. making sure the slot i knew where an item was is empty and then looting the item again (i went out and skinned some mobs till i got the right quality leather in that spot) and then relogging fixed it.

To be clear, I don’t think the items are actually vanishing, they’re just entering some sort of non display state, like a Schrodinger’s reagent bag. it would explain why the players don’t see their item and items can be placed over them but customer support can still see the items in the bags. And just to be clear I do not run any addons this is not an addon issue.

Running no add-ons does not guard against elements of the UI being corrupted. That’s why the first step is to try the Full UI Reset. It may not solve this issue, but a fresh UI build is the baseline from which they will need to troubleshoot.
Beyond that, there have been a few other questions about a similar issue, so you may want to add your experience to an existing thread in the Bug Report Forum.

This is happening to me also… have a stack of over 100 insights and they are currently missing… character is Beelzebûb (Sargeras) on same account here.
It looks like a Game Master was able to recover those for you, Dyngdawng. We could see them in your inventory but for some reason they were invisible in-game.
I believe they should be in the top left slot in your Chronocloth Reagent Bag.
