People refuse to play the game so they come to the forums to complain.
huh? you do not need 100% completion to get a 5 star run
There is no point, people don’t want to do the bonus objectives because “they are not in a journal” and are therefore “mysterious”, I guess they ignored every single fight mechanic in Wrath or before because there was no Journal…
they probably did
OMG I totally forgot about this timer/scoring crapola they were going to put in.
I hated boreghast before but did it for the ash - now forget it. I got a legendary - mission accomplished.
I logged in to find all the hard-work I did for mounting in the maw has been trivialized.
More and New currencies - in a new area to grind more crap - Nope
Timers and Rating systems on a piss-poor designed “dungeon” called torghast? - Nope
Yea… I think I’ll just go back to TBC and continue to play.
I’ll only be back here to get my flying and leave.
Until this xpac is over and Ion has left the building I won’t be back to anything else, including any new raids or dungeons.
okay then!
good gravy you people make big deals out of things even when you clearly don’t understand them.
the timer is not a timer. you do not have to rush.
you are intentionally gimping yourself going in solo. But you do you.
I got 5 stars on an alt I hadn’t played in a couple weeks, accidently, because my friends (also all on alts) went in and just… did everything. we smashed the urns, we freed the souls, we did the objectives. we used the empowerment. we weren’t trying to 5 star it, we were all surprised when we got it because… we were just there to farm up some soul ash.
it’s not hard.
When will they realize timers are bad?
If the timer is not a timer, then why did they add a timer?
good gravy you you people don’t understand human responses and/or thoughts. If there is a timer there, people will instinctively feel the need to “beat” the timer or whatever it means to them. I suspect they will relay it back to M+ thinking.
It’s not hard
they need to get over it. The timer is just one aspect that can be ignored
they’ve been shown time and again in these threads how the scoring system works, but they’re apparently more interested in freaking out about the timer.
yeah I don’t think it matters much.
I got a five star and I took a break to make a cup of coffee and smoke.
that’s way easier than trying to play better!
Ah yes, the old clever timer that is not a timer, but appears to be a timer, but you don’t use it as a timer; however, it walks, smells, and acts like a timer but you should ignore it timer, timer.
My original post still stands, your thoughts didn’t sway me (nor will they anyone else)
You’re attempt to dismiss me have not worked but good try.
so you’re saying you want fewer options of ways to get a good score? because getting rid of the timer removes a possible source of bonus points
I’m the same way and its frustrating…
Don’t you “need” 4 stars just to unlock the next floor? Just killing everything with no regard to time still doesn’t get you 4 stars.
you clearly don’t understand the scoring system, which makes your disdain for the timer all the more amusing.
You do you, my dude, continue on pretending the timer is something you have to do to 5 star, and being unhappy.
if that works for you, have at it.
yes
You absolutely can 4 star it without worrying about the timer.
I’m sorry I don’t believe that… Is that supposed to be proof? How do you find out the par time? I’ve been between 99 to 100% with an average time of 12 minutes and still get 3 stars. I dunno what I’m doing wrong…
If you look at the linked thread, I have screenshots to show it, and there’s tips and good discussion about how to maximize score while ignoring the timer.
you don’t believe that Brewa went in and 4 stared it… he, what, doctored those screenshots?
There are lots of other objectives you can do to increase your score. Give me a second to find the chart for you
I didn’t click the link, I’ll check it out.
